The swarm of insectoids huddled together, neatly aligned as if in deep slumber, with those terrifying creatures stretching from where the eye could see all the way to the horizon. Obviously, these insectoids came in several varieties:
The larval insectoids, only the size of a human child, had not yet developed strong offensive capabilities, but were already more dreadful than humans. They had voracious appetites, craving DNA and organic matter, and some even had small wings on their backs, allowing them to fly at low altitudes. Some of the larvae with exceptional talents could even emit high-pressure air, light beams, or poison for ranged attacks.
