Qiya had been completely stunned from the moment Shi Zhou barged in.
Jiang Xuerong, with one hand injured, found it somewhat difficult to fight Shi Zhou. Catching a glimpse of Qiya's dazed expression, she cursed under her breath and roared, "Why aren't you helping yet!"
It was then that Qiya snapped out of it and drew her sword.
But she still hesitated, unsure whether to join the fight.
She had a grudge against Shi Zhou, but after all, she had never killed anyone and couldn't bring herself to deliver a lethal blow like Jiang Xuerong.
And most importantly, she simply wasn't a match for Shi Zhou.
Her previous defeats had instilled in her a sense of fear towards him; just the sight of Shi Zhou made her unconsciously timid.
Seeing that Qiya was slow to act, Jiang Xuerong cursed to herself for her incompetence and decided not to count on her anymore.
Shi Zhou parried Jiang Xuerong's attacks with her sword while retreating.
