The people of the Lian Family had never seen the old lady this furious; everyone in the room trembled with fear.
Lian Yinseng was especially baffled, "Mom, what's going on?"
"I'm asking you, where is your Aunt Chen?" the old lady demanded, pointing at Lian Yinseng.
Lian Yinseng looked around for his wife's figure but, finding no one, braced himself and said, "She went back to her hometown to visit relatives, Mom. Didn't I tell you?"
The old lady let out a scornful laugh, retorting, "Just because Aunt Chen said a few things you didn't like to hear, you drove away a family member who has lived with us for forty years. Do you realize she has no relatives in this world? Where do you expect her to go?"
As she spoke, the old lady slammed a teacup at Lian Yinseng's feet.
"Mom, she's become senile, have you become senile too? No matter how many years she lived with us, she was just a servant in our household. Did you really expect us to provide for her in her old age?"
