Ambrose was sitting in the conference room, processing the news. He couldn't believe what he heard. The anger in him was boiling over.
His wolf was restless, pacing in his mind. Howling in agony upon hearing about what happened to one of his packs. The brutality of the slaughter.
The maiden did this? All of his sources had said she's the softest queen that's ever ruled.
"How sure are we it was Violet and not that dragon bitch?" he asked the man crippled and bloodied in front of him. A few people escaped but only four made it to the palace, including the late alpha's daughter, she was shaken and riddled with fear, her terror made her mute.
"My King, because the dragon was spotted, this was most certainly the Queen." One survivor spoke with a shaky voice.
