It had been days since they got the news, court dragged on like and endless line on deaths door they moved through the nights with an overwhelming sense of numbness. They've barely slept. The nights events kept their minds awake. They both tossed and turned all day waiting for the sun to find its way to the horizon. They'd be leaving for home soon.
