After reaching the broken temple. He noticed the intricate and delicate destruction on the walls of the temple. He saw that the walls had markings of a sword.
The temple looked so desolate and deserted that no plants grew near it as well. And the place looked like it was destroyed not long ago.
After he reached the safety of the temple, the rabbit relaxed but the fear that came after was still there on it's face. It was not as scared as it was when they were in the fog, but it was still vigilant all the same.
Soon after, he could hear the screams and skin crawling roars of whatever creatures that were in the fog at that time.
The sound of flesh being torn apart and the sound of blood dropping on the floor was heard. But the shouts still continued.
One roar in particular was very close to the edge of the fog and when the sound of flesh being torn apart was heard. Michael could see blood and organs fall on the floor.
The creature cried in distress but it's roars was muffled by the other cries of creatures.
"What would have happened to me I were still I'm that fog?" Michael shuddered to think of the results and just when he thought things couldn't get scary.
He saw a person appear from the broke temple. She was wearing a white dress and was holding a sword covered in dried blood. Even her dress was covered in some splashes of blood.
Michael was excited to see someone else appear in this messed up place. And she was also a woman with a very good proportioned body. Just as he was about to call to her.
He saw the rabbit pulling on his clothes. It's eye were begging Michael not to say a word. It was very afraid and it was sweating bullets.
Michael did not know what was up with the rabbit and wanted to take a look at the woman again when he suddenly saw her in his front.
Michael nearly screamed and had a heart attack but the rabbit was squeezing his throat with all the strength it had.
Michael saw that the lady did not have eyes like they had been scooped right out of her sockets and her face was full of cracks. Blood was coming out of her empty eye sockets and down her cracked face.
She held her sword and pointed at the two of them but did not attack. Instead she kept staring at them with her empty sockets.
Michael felt she could not actually see them an it was confirmed when she slowly pointed her sword down. The rabbit was still clutching his throat so he motioned for it to let him and after careful consideration, it left his neck alone.
The woman in white dress did not look in their direction again and turned her attention to the fog and the cries of several creatures.
As she left Michael saw that she was not actually walking and was instead levitating while the sword dragged on the ground.
She looked like a wraith going for vengeance and it was proved when she entered into the fog and the screams of creatures were even more horrendous and heart shattering.
Michael looked at the rabbit that was laying on his thigh and shivered as if it was very afraid. It had saved his life and because of that he looked at it in a different light now.
He allowed it to find solace on his lap and ventured into deep thought. 'What was that person right now ?What was happening?'
After several hours of listening to gut wrenching screams, the fog started by to change color and turned to black. The woman in white dress returned and the creatures screams stopped ringing out.
The ground was drenched in blood and the soil was destroyed. But he didn't see a single dead body of any creature as if the entire ordeal in the night never happened but the blood soaked floor and destroyed soil was testament. It was like blood on the dance floor.
Then the sun started to rise and the fog was gone. In fear of unknown danger, Michael decided not to leave just yet just to be safe and it was until the sun was high in this sky did he finally think about venturing out.
Both he and the rabbit were hungry and neither grass grew close to the temple or beast venture close as well. They all kept away.
Because of the panging pain in his head, Michael finally came out to search for anything edible to eat.
As soon as they reached a patchy piece of land covered in grass, the rabbit began muching in it as if it were the last food it would ever it while Michael went to find anything he could eat.
There were no fruits of any kind around but there were bountiful rodents scurrying around on the ground and both on the trees and seeing them made him question how they were still alive and how they managed to escape the night killers.
Eventually, after a lot of running around, he finally managed to kill some tree squirrels and proceeded to roast them over a fire but the rabbit looked at him in disdain.
"What, you want me to cook you instead?" Michael asked and to his surprise he saw the rabbit shivering as if it had seen the face of death.
But he knew by now that it knew by that Michael wouldnt harm it. And he wouldn't, not after it saved his life from what could have been his sliced up pieces of his body.
After eating some meat, he felt much better now but he was now thirsty and couldn't find any available source of water.
The sun set again and they stopped to enjoy the view again like before but when he saw the approaching fog, his expression changed and he grabbed the bunny and dashed away quickly looking for the broken temple again.
The fog was yellow, Michael didn't know what that meant but he knew it wasn't a good thing either. Then the colour changed to white and he started to hear the shrieks and shouts of monsters that was sure to make your blood run cold.
Michael was sweating bullets now, if he didn't find the broken temple soon he would be dead. But luck seemed to be on his side and just as the moon was fully high up in the sky, he reached the temple.
He hid in his previous position and saw the lady in white dress floating towards the fog again and his blood ran cold.
The amount of fear factor in this place was to much. It was like a hunted forest during the night.
The lady in white dress didn't come after him like it did before and just entered the fog like before and another round of screams and sounds of fleshing being ripped apart echoed in the foggy night.
