ZINA
"Missing out on her is your greatest regret?" Ada asked in a strange voice.
"More than anything." Zina answered strongly, "and I won't allow her to sacrifice anymore for me again. So you must help me, Prophetess Ada."
The woman shook her head. "Luna Ameneris must have communicated to you through the runes asking you to bring the staff. Just do that and everything will be fine. Whatever elaborate plan you're cooking will be doomed to fail. Besides, this is her decision. More than whatever regrets you might have, she has even more regrets than you."
Because she knew they were running out of time, she closed the remaining step separating her from the woman and the gripped her by her frail arm.
"You haven't asked me what I saw of you ?" She whispered harshly, "haven't you stayed by her side all these years to see if her prophecy of doom could be possibly upturned? Haven't you waited all these years to see if it were truly possible for a curse vision to take a different turn."
