Having dispatched Captain Yang and the others, Tangyu thought there wouldn't be any more trouble from the forces of justice. Indeed, without these complications, things were much easier.
As for troubles from the underworld, those were simple to deal with: just fight them off. It was the obstacles posed by the so-called good guys that were really a headache. Luckily, Captain Yang was sensible and didn't waste too much of Tangyu's energy.
It wasn't until Tangyu walked back to where Xinyue and Tang Guo stood that the two seemed to snap out of their daze, taking a moment to come back to reality.
Seeing them frozen as if time had stopped, Tangyu couldn't help but shake his head and smile, feeling the impulse to dash forward and plant a kiss on them. Wouldn't any normal guy here feel the same urge?
After a while, Xinyue was the first to regain her senses, followed by Tang Guo, who looked at Tangyu with even more admiration, "Tangyu, I hate to ask, but are you human?"
