Then Seoha swung harder.
A burst of fire exploded from her sword, forcing Derrick to jump back and land on the deck of his ship, his boots skidding as flames licked at the edges of the wooden planks.
He barely had time to breathe before Seoha leapt after him, her sword raised high. "This is payback!" she yelled, bringing her flaming blade down in a wide arc.
Derrick blocked it just in time, the impact cracking the floor beneath them.
"You're still loud as ever," Derrick said with a smirk, pushing her back with a grunt of strength. He swung his sword low, aiming at her legs, but she jumped, flipping backward and landing lightly despite the size of her weapon.
All around them, their guilds were locked in fierce battle.
On one side of the ship, Seoha's guild members were fighting hard — a fire mage shooting wide waves of flame to push back incoming enemies, while a twin-dagger rogue danced between Derrick's hammer-wielding warriors, leaving cuts on every pass.
