Elshienne awkwardly waved her hand. "There's nothing else going on," she said quickly, trying to brush off Nayoung's suspicions. Then she cleared her throat and changed the topic. "Um… are you okay with the dean's decision?"
Nayoung's eyes sparkled with excitement. "It's scary but fun! Heheee! Besides, the decision is final, right? So we just need to accept it." She flashed a bright smile, her usual bubbly self shining through.
They finally reached their classroom door. Elshienne knocked, and when the door opened, both she and Nayoung bowed politely. "Sorry, we're late," they said in unison.
The professor, a tall woman with sharp eyes and neatly tied hair, looked up from her desk and nodded. "It's fine. The dean already informed me about the change. Go on and take your seats," she instructed.
