Andrew remained on the phone with both Maxwell and Dr. Liu even as Dr. Liu's connection cut in and out because of the elevator. Andrew could hear that Mr. Newman was letting Maxwell know he had a meeting, but Maxwell let him know that they had a situation on their hands and he needed to wait until it was wrapped up.
Thankfully, Mr. Newman was great at stalling others.
Andrew could hear when the group arrived. Dr. Piper and Dr. Cox let out surprised exclamations, but they didn't come into view as Dr. Liu and the others did.
"They're here." Andrew told Maxwell over the phone, hanging up on Dr. Liu since she was in sight. He shoved Dr. Cox's phone into his pocket, swallowing as Dr. Liu opened the door. Andrew turned his gaze towards Richard, but no reaction. Nothing.
Dr. Liu stepped into the room, joining Andrew at his side and they both stared at Richard as the group she had brought waited outside for her to give the go ahead.
