Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Buggy pirate

Buggy was once a member of the Gold D. Roger pirate crew.

Unfortunately, he wasn't as strong as Shank, so he could only grit his teeth and go back to East Blue, which was the weakest out of all seas.

He was now standing at the edge of his ship. He just started his crew not long ago. But, for some reason, many weak pirates want to follow him.

Buggy, who didn't have anything, could make his crew very big with more than 30 pirates on his ship now. Just the number alone could intimidate others and make things easier for him.

"Even though they are weak, They still have some use."

Buggy thought to himself, realizing that having a crew of weaker pirates could still be advantageous in certain situations.

At least they could be bait for him when he wanted to fish some sea beast. Food costs would be much lower if he didn't have to buy it, and he might get the chance to lower the cost even more if the bait was eaten.

But they would always survive and come back. Buggy didn't know if these poor pirates were actually immortal or not.

"Whatever, their luck are good, and I might benefit from it."

Buggy didn't know that it wasn't them that had so much luck, but him. His luck was in the form of survival. He was very weak but could survive even when he sailed through the sea with the King of Pirates crew.

And while Buggy was acting cool, the Den-Den Mushi inside the ship rang. His hand then separated from his body before it flew toward Den-Den Mushi, who brought it to him. Buggy then answered the call.

"Buggy, It's me Cabaji. I got contact from someone. They wanted to hire you to kidnap someone. He is a noble from the great house. The ransom should be very high. He asked for a 50% split. Do you want to accept this job?"

Buggy's eyes sparkled with joy as he listened to Cabaji's proposals. The thought of a hefty ransom and a thrilling kidnapping mission appealed to his nefarious nature.

However, Buggy's cunning mind reminded him to assess the risks involved before making a decision.

"Does this job involve marines?"

Buggy asked cautiously, knowing that any involvement with the Marines could escalate matters and increase the chances of getting caught.

He knew that dealing with a noble from a great house would already attract attention, but involving the Marines would raise the risk dramatically.

"No, I think."

"You think? Humph, that means there is more than 50% chance that marines would be involved."

Buggy replied. He smelled a trap. But he wasn't so easy for the little marines in the weakest sea to deal with.

'They don't know who they were dealing with. Let me see who dares to challenge me!'

Buggy's confidence grew as he considered the potential threat. He was excited to exhibit his strength and show the Marines that underestimating him would be a grave mistake.

...

At the port of the loguetown. The marine ship had finally arrived and docked.

Sirzechs slowly opened his eyes and yawned, stretching his arms above his head. He just took a nap to kill time. Traveling by sea could be quite boring at times.

With his senses, he could tell that the ship was docked near a place where there were many humans going about their daily activities.

He stood up from the chair and went toward the door. He could hear many footsteps from the outside.

The plan should start now.

*Knock* *Knock* The door was knocked, and Sirzechs opened it to find the marine recruit waiting for him. They were dressed in navy uniforms, standing at attention with a salute.

"We have arrived at Loguetown. We may have to restock our supplies before continuing our journey. Captain Morgan ordered us to be your guard for today. Do you want to take a walk outside the ship, sir?"

'So this is his plan. Very classic. If something bad happened to me these recruits would be the ones to be blamed.'

Sirzechs smiled at them, then thanked them.

"Please take care of me."

He didn't care if these marine recruits were to be blamed for what happened to him. It wasn't like anyone could do anything to him anyway. So it should be okay for them if they survive the attack from the pirate.

Sirzechs's confidence in his own strength was unfaltering, as he knew that no one could pose a threat to him in this whole sea.

...

Sirzechs disembarked from the ship with marine recruits. They were very weak compared to the other marines on the ship. Morgan personally selected them so the pirate could kidnap him easier.

He could feel that there were many people watching him, their eyes filled with greed and even lust. He knew that they were pirates but they should be from different crews. As they were wary of each other.

Sirzechs walked confidently without fear. He could sense someone moving to surround them.

'There's a devil here? I can feel his presence but he was inside someone's soul…'

Sirzechs looked in a certain direction. He could see a ship with a pirate flag on it. The flag was a symbol of a skull with a red nose. The pirate ship was pretty far away from the shore.

With his eyesight. He could see that the pirates on the ship had loaded a canon with a weird cannonball. They were ready to shoot at any moment now.
