But he pretty much had eidetic memory, so he shouldn't forget people that he ever interacted with, and with two unique little girls at that.
'Did I ever meet them in my past life?'
He questioned himself but shook his head after. It shouldn't be like that. He believed that only he had a unique existence in this world.
Sirzechs looked at both of them intensely. He also felt like he saw the middle-aged man before, but it wasn't as strong as these two little girls.
"What are you looking at? You wanna fight? I'll tell you that my mom is a marine. She will lock you up in jail!"
Sirzechs looked at the fierce little girl and chuckled.
"You are really amusing, little girl. Well, I really want to see those merfolk. Can you bring me to see them, and I'll give you this?"
Sirzechs pulled out a stack of money. It should be around 10k belly.
And when the little girl named Nami saw the money, Her eyes changed, and then she nodded quickly.
'How do I know that she liked money?'
Sirzechs thought about what happened recently, and he was sure that it had something to do with his past life. But he didn't know how it connected to his current self.
He wasn't Sirzechs, and he wasn't his forgotten past self either. He was born from the mixture of the two and became Sirzechs D. Lucifer.
He shook his head and let this matter go for now. He felt that he might get the answer soon, and there's no need to hurry.
"S-Stop Nami, Don't you remember what Bellemere told us? She said, We shouldn't get anything from a stranger!"
Nami heard Nojiko and suddenly remembered Bellmere's words. She looked at the stack of money. Then she thought about something.
"What is your name?"
Nami suddenly asked for his name.
Sirzechs knew what the little girl wanted, so he introduced himself.
"My name is Sirzechs D. Lucifer. Nice to meet you. And what is your name?"
"Nami! Now Nojiko. We are no longer strangers, right?"
She smirked at her big sister. If it's about money, Nami would never give up on them.
"You can't do that!"
Nami heard her sister, but she just shrugged and then told Sirzechs to follow her. She got her money, so she had to finish the job.
"Come this way, but you need to be quiet. Those fish don't like humans."
Nami was about to lead Sirzechs toward the location that those merfolk took over. But Genzo stopped them.
"Stop right there! You can't lead him to that place. Otherwise, we are all doomed!"
Genzo was like a father figure to Nami, so she stopped and looked at him. She didn't want to have a problem with him now.
Seeing that Nami had stopped, it felt kind of awkward. He then spoke to Genzo.
"I just want to go and see if they are like the merfolk I knew. They were usually gentle in nature. And if you are worried about her safety, You have nothing to worry about."
Sirzechs could shut him up and force her to lead the way, but suddenly all the bad thoughts were interrupted by something.
Then he didn't want to use violence anymore. Or at least to these people.
'I have to show him a little bit of my power.'
He then showed Genzo why he didn't need to worry.
He pushed his hand forward gently, then a ripple formed in the empty space before it blew everything in front of him. This spell was only at middle-class level.
Genzo and everyone looked at him with jawdroped and eyes wide open. They didn't think that he would be this strong.
