I walked around the house and sure enough, there was a road connected to the house at the side. it wasn't the concrete road that I was familiar with back on earth but a pebble road. there were a lot of unique pebbles that it was made of.
I stepped on it and turned around to look at the wooden house that was behind me. I wanted to find some kind of town or settlement but I didn't know how long it will take me to find that. maybe I should have taken some ration from the kitchen?
I shook my head, dispelling the thought and started walking down the road. I was not going to sleep outside at night and I could control my hunger until night at least so, if I really couldn't find a settlement until night, No!, until evening, I would come back to this place eat something and spend the night here.
Thinking so I walked out of the clearing around house and started walking down the pebble path. soon the house couldn't be seen from my location and after about 5 more minutes I came to a stop.
The pebble path had connected to a road made of gravel and stone. This kind of road should connect me to a village but which direction should I go?
There wasn't really a way for me to confirm which way is the village since GPS doesn't exist here so I just picked the left direction since right is always wrong.
I walked down that road for a while. the weather was good, it was a bit hot because of the sun but the trees around the road did a great job at cooling the area.
I walked for a while and soon I saw a carriage standing in the middle of the road. I thanked my luck as I started walking faster to get closer to it. I couldn't let this carriage go without at least asking about the village distance and other things, though I hoped more then anything if they could take me with them to a town...
I soon reached near the carriage but it wasn't a pretty sight there. Human bodies littered the ground, dead. there were at least five of them. the carriage didn't look too special so I don't think thieves did this but then who?
The blood was still flowing down the road and it was still painting unpainted road in its red colour. this meant that they all died just a while ago. maybe an hour ago?...No...Since the blood it still flowing it means that it was only around five to six minutes since their deaths. because if not, there would already be a puddle filled with blood here but the blood has just now started to fill the area...
I looked around the carriage and found a blood trail leading ahead down the road. I looked around the carriage a bit more and found a spear, there weren't any swords around so I took the spear and dashed down the road as well. after a few seconds I saw a window pop up.
'Passive- Elapsed daytime activated!'
As soon as I finished reading, my movement speed increased by 2 times directly. because of the sudden increase in movement speed, I stumbled a bit but was able to keep my balance and dashed in 2 times the speed I usually have.
This boost only lasted for five seconds but it made me able to travel 2 times the distance! and after another 3 seconds, a similar window again appeared, informing me of my passive being activated. again I started dashing at 2 times the speed.
At this point, I was already able to see some people a distance away on road. after seeing them, I abandoned the road and started running through the forest instead. I didn't want them to find my location yet. With just a glance, I could tell that there were at least 4 people there so a sneak attack is my best option at taking them down without much trouble.
I knew that the carriage massacre was done by human being and not monsters because they had wounds that looked like slashes from a sword. So since there was noone else around, I had assumed they had done it but I have to observe them more to know more.
While running through the forest, I quickly reached their location. I slowed down and sneaked closer to them.
Now that I was this close I found out that there were 7 people there. Six of them were men while the last one was a female girl with brown hair and black eyes.
"C'mon~ say it now lady! 'Please, spare me~ mister, I would be a good girl~' Say it!" A man spoke who had heavy beard as he held one of the hand of the girl.
"P-please hic* s-spare me" The girl who looked no more then 14 years of age spoke while she controlled her crying voice.
I moved as close to the group as I could while still hiding after which I held the spear's handle and started counting for my passive to activate-
"1..."
"2..."
"3!!"
I saw a window pop up but ignored it as I instantly appeared right in front of the group. I swung my spear towards the nearest thug and gave him a deep wound on his entire back. blood spurt out of him as he fell to the ground while groaning. this strick was just my basic attack but it was enhanced to 200% of the original before landing on him because of my passive. though even without the passive, I would have still taken him out in one strick.
Before the group of thugs even realised what's happening, I appeared in front of the next two thugs closest to me and used 'Force Swing'. my hand moved on its own as I swung the spear horizontally. The power of the move was immense. The person who was standing more closer to me was hit with the blunt body of the spear and was launched more then five meters towards the other side of the road and even after he hit the ground, he still slided for more then 2 meters before stopping.
Though even after all this, it was his good luck that he was standing closer to Amin and was only hit with the blunt spear body. unfortunately, his friend was not lucky as he was completely in range of the spear's sharp blade. with the force at which the spear was swung, his entire upper body came apart from his lower half.
The first person had took the spear at his ribs and most of his ribs were broken. the broken ribs had dug into his lungs causing internal bleeding so he wouldn't survive even though he was still alive but his buddy didn't even know what was happening and he died! He was just turning around after hearing a groan and a thud sound and the next thing he knew, he was flying through the air with only his upper body as his vision darkened.
Amin was also quite shocked. even though he was expecting this kind of power, but the way both of them just went flying... it was just gravity defying, literally!
Also this was the first time Amin has killed someone. he did beat his opponents into bloody mess before but he never took any lives. Though it didn't effect him too much. he had already prepared himself to take life while still living on earth because his life was slowly moving towards that kind of thing. It had started from just plain boxing but ended up as him joining a gang who was famous for their notorious deeds. so he always knew that sooner or later he will have to kill.
Amin sighed as he looked at the upper body of the thug but decided to focus on the fighting the remaining three first.
