Roxanne finally decided to ask the question that was on her and Seraphine's mind.
"Uhm... Arin, why did you ask us about Vampire Soulmancers? Did you perhaps... turn someone?"
Arin blinked.
He was yet to tell them about Tessa, and thinking about it now, he had no reason to hide it from them.
"Yes," Arin said, making both Roxanne and Seraphine gasp.
"I turned Tessa last night," he added. "And she became a different breed... A Vampire Soulmancer."
Roxanne and Seraphine were quite shocked, but it wasn't a problem, so it wasn't like their shock was one of detest or something.
They just didn't expect it.
"No wonder you were suddenly asking us about Vampire Soulmancers," Seraphine said.
Arin smiled. "Yeah... I kinda forgot to even tell you guys."
"It's alright," Roxanne said, smiling. "I'm sure she was the one who asked you to turn her, because knowing you, I'm not sure you'll forcefully turn her, especially considering the fact that she's a friend and not an enemy."
