Chapter 194 - Chapter 194: When Peace Looks Suspiciously Like Genocide

After hearing Kazuki's extreme ideas, Tsunade's face twisted in frustration.

The Kazuki she knew was a shining sun, but ever since Senju Tobirama's chakra erupted within Kazuki, his power had grown dramatically. However, at the same time, he had also taken control of Konoha's Dark Root, and his mindset had become increasingly extreme.

'Grandpa Tobirama, you always say that the Uchiha Clan is evil by nature, but I think the real problem is you...' Tsunade thought resentfully, remembering the words her grandmother Mito once told her: If your Grandpa Tobirama starts causing trouble, just use a sealing technique and throw him away.

Tsunade wanted to make that idea a priority.

"Kazuki, this isn't peace. I'll accompany you and we can move forward little by little together." Tsunade said, still confused by her feelings, as she held onto Kazuki's hand and looked at him with concern.

"Kazuki, this is not peace... this is extermination." Orochimaru commented in an impartial tone. "Of course, we can always redefine the concept of peace more loosely, but I wouldn't recommend it."

It was strange, but this time, Tsunade and Orochimaru were on the same side.

Meanwhile, Tobirama himself, who was being criticized in the minds of both of them, was frowning. Had the demonic darkness of the Uchiha possessed Kazuki again?

How was he supposed to handle this situation...?

Especially in times of war, when death and blood only intensified emotions, putting the evil nature of the Uchiha in an even more unstable state.

'Convincing Kazuki with a few words won't be enough...' Tobirama thought. 'According to Orochimaru's analysis, the war was at a moment of strategic change. Furthermore, the chakra of that ancient Uchiha within Kazuki had not yet been completely suppressed. Under these circumstances, it was unwise to let him continue to get involved in the war.'

'I must find a way to divert his attention...' Tobirama mused.

But how to achieve this? Then he remembered Jiraiya, who had spent his entire life occupied with prophecies...

Perhaps it would be best to send Kazuki to hear the toads' prophecy, then visit the three great sage regions, as well as study the Uchiha stone tablet with him.

After all, what danger could there be in the stone tablet left by the Sage of Six Paths?

While Madara rebelled after reading it, that was not definitive proof. To Tobirama, it had only been an excuse for Madara to unleash an internal war.

If peace required facing one's own brother in a battle to the death... that was simply ridiculous.

Tobirama had reviewed numerous ancient texts about the Sage of Six Paths. Most of them talked about Nindo and contained pedantic ideas about mutual understanding.

Although Tobirama despised such concepts, ironically, they might be exactly what Kazuki needed right now.

Furthermore, if he could convince him to visit the three great sage regions, he could have Kazuki try to learn Sage Mode. It didn't matter whether he succeeded or not; simply trying to control natural energy required calmness and balance, which could help stabilize him.

A flash flashed through Tobirama's eyes as he spoke in a firm voice, "Kazuki, listen to me..."

"What do you think, Tobirama?" Kazuki sighed helplessly. "I feel like there's too much going on. My mind is in chaos."

"A war that engulfs the entire shinobi world, prophecies about future peace, the agitation of chakra in my body..."

Tobirama stared at Kazuki's expression and nodded with empathy.

If anyone could understand the weight Kazuki carried better than anyone else, it was him. He had witnessed his evolution and growth firsthand, he knew his ambitions and inner conflicts... as well as the dark power that was brewing within him.

"When it comes to war, I have plenty of experience, Kazuki..." Tobirama said calmly. "At this point, the conflict has reached a stalemate. The mass destruction technique you displayed in Iwagakure has made your enemies think twice before advancing. Until they figure out your fighting style, I doubt they'll dare to launch an all-out offensive. You shouldn't feel that much pressure."

"You're right about one thing: Konoha is not yet in a position to unify the shinobi world. We can develop new weapons to weaken the enemy's rank-and-file shinobi, but they can do the same against us."

"If pushed to the limit, the Kage and Jinchūriki might resort to guerrilla tactics, abandoning their villages and bases to attack Konoha's mid- and low-ranking shinobi. That would only lead to mutual destruction."

"That's why, Kazuki, you've done more than enough. Winning everything in a single battle is a dream, but the reality is different. You're still young. In time, the entire shinobi world will change because of you. Don't be hasty, relax a little..."

Tobirama spoke seriously, his gaze reflecting deep appreciation for Kazuki.

This young Uchiha had already accomplished things that even he, as Second Hokage, could do. He didn't need to push himself in his quest for perfection to the point of self-destruction. It wouldn't be worth it.

War is not just about killing. It is a complex game of strategy and alliances.

After seeing Kazuki's Steam Imp explode and hearing his comments about planning to massacre all the shinobi, Tobirama concluded that this boy needed to rest.

If he continued killing at this rate, Tobirama could imagine the future: Konoha advancing with an unstoppable offensive, while its enemies, cornered, resorted to suicidal attacks. Kazuki losing his loved ones...

And then, under the influence of the ancient Uchiha's chakra, Uchiha Izuna's chakra, and extreme emotion, a Kazuki more terrifying than Madara would be born.

So it was better for him to calm down. No rush.

It is better to travel around Mount Myoboku and then go see the fun at the Uchiha stone tablet, so that Kazuki can calm down and then start solving the problems of Uchiha Izuna and the ancient Uchiha's chakra, then there will be no hidden dangers.

As long as Kazuki continued to exist, the unification of the shinobi world would only be a matter of time. There was no need to rush.

Meanwhile, Kazuki, hearing Tobirama's words, couldn't help but laugh inside.

Clearly, he wanted to distract him from his supposed worries.

And the truth was that that was what Kazuki wanted.

Kazuki has no ill will towards other shinobi villages, to him they are all equal, leeks that provide him with gold coins.

Alive or dead, as long as they were useful, it didn't matter.

As for the tailed beasts' chakra, until he found a way to effectively fuse them, he couldn't absorb too much. Only enough for normal use.

What he was most interested in was completing Kumo and Suna's final missions. If each village represented a pact with the elements, Kirigakure with the ocean and Iwagakure with the earth, then Sunagakure must symbolize the wind and Kumogakure the lightning.

And the final mission, judging by the route Kazuki took to conquer Tobirama, was not something that could be achieved simply by killing people.

In simple terms, it requires either a drastic change in mindset or extreme fear.

For shinobi, what truly destroyed them was not death, but seeing their nindo crumble, their beliefs shattered or rewritten.

And there were still Uchiha Madara, Obito on the verge of darkening, and Black Zetsu lurking. All waiting for their turn on the stage.

'I'll wait for you. But don't take too long...' thought Kazuki. After thinking for a moment, he replied to Tobirama: "You're right, Tobirama..."

"If there are only a few people left in Konoha or even the shinobi world, then peace is probably meaningless."

"The conflict of the shinobi world has persisted for a thousand years. Not even the Sage of Six Paths could resolve it. Perhaps that is why he left behind the child of prophecy and the Uchiha stone tablet..."

"Come with me, Tobirama. Let us travel to the Three Great Wise Regions and study the Uchiha stone tablet. Perhaps we will find some answers."

Tobirama breathed a sigh of relief and nodded quickly. "That's the way to go, Kazuki. Listening to me is never a mistake."

Meanwhile, Tsunade held Kazuki's hands tightly. Her gaze was filled with worry as she watched her disciple silently. She blamed herself for not perfecting her sealing techniques, unable to restrain that evil old Senju…

Orochimaru was also staring at him. His eyes were fixed on Kazuki with a mixture of anxiety and frustration. If he could have, he would have used his snakes to extract Tobirama from his body immediately.

That's my perfect container! Don't ruin him, you damn old man!
