Chapter 300 - True Level Labyrinth

Instantly, chaos broke out among the hero party composed of students. Some froze in fear, while others panicked to the core, unable to think straight.

Even Meld Loggins himself seemed overwhelmed trying to control the situation.

Among the group of heroes, El noticed a man who caught his attention more than any other.

With dark hair, brown eyes, and a slender build, the man had a friendly face, despite trying to remain calm amidst the tension of the situation.

El gave a small grin in the darkness of the stairs. "Ah! There he is... Hajime... He does have the qualities to be the main character, especially as a Hero, not Kouki."

"But... We should just enjoy this show live, it's more fun!" El muttered in a low voice.

El watched them from a distance, without providing any assistance, remaining hidden in the shadows.

With the Selfless State, El eliminated any trace of his existence, blending into the nature around his.

Overall, the events that transpired were almost identical to those in the original plot.

Hajime immediately helped Yuka, a classmate who was frightened and surrounded by monsters, while telling her to stay calm if she didn't want to perish.

Later, Hajime reprimanded Kouki who insisted on not leaving Meld, saying that someone should lead the panicked classmates.

Hajime also told Meld to help his friends while paralyzing the Behemoth for a moment using his Skill.

After that, their group began to cast magic, mobilizing all their strength in a combined attack to kill the Behemoth.

However, amidst the chaos of battle, a classmate betrayed Hajime by launching a fireball at him.

The attack hit Hajime hard, throwing him off the cliff and sending him tumbling into a dark abyss.

Kaori and the others could only be shocked, watching the scene without being able to do anything.

Immediately afterward, El moved very quickly, leaving a trail of shadows for a moment before finally disappearing, like the ripples of the moon's reflection on the surface of a pond.

Without hesitation, El jumped into the abyss, letting the darkness erase all traces of his existence.

True Labyrinth Level: 1st Floor.

In the dim light, a pair of bright purple eyes seemed to glow, luminous in the darkness. El walked along the floor, exploring this vast space.

The surrounding scenery looked like a cave with rocks sticking out like cliffs on the walls, floor, and even the ceiling.

"Auuuuuuuu!" A wolf's howl was heard, followed by a lightning strike aimed at El.

However, before the lightning touched his body, El's figure seemed to disappear like the ripples of the moon's reflection in water.

Instantly, his figure reappeared a few steps from where he was before, moving only 10 meters away.

Looking back, El saw five thick gray wolves with fiery red eyes. The monster's mouth was open, revealing sharp, knife-like fangs.

Two-Tailed Wolves, that was their name. Found on the 1st floor, they had a special magic called "Lightning Field," which allowed them to generate electricity around their bodies and shoot it at their enemies.

El smiled faintly, then said casually, "Nice fur, making a cape seems very suitable."

As if they understood the insult, the five wolves immediately moved, running towards El with purplish electricity surrounding their bodies.

However, it did not threaten El at all. Calmly, El raised his right hand before his chest and formed a hand seal.

Instantly, a gas-like green-colored energy spread out from his body, this was the Sky Pearl Poison.

In the next second, the group of wolves staggered and fell down helplessly, a sign that their lives had ended in an instant.

With Authority level 4, even if the Sky Pearl Poison is in a damaged state and can only exert the power of Bronze Rank equipment, the poison can be used with perfect precision.

As such, El was able to create poisons capable of instantly killing targets without turning their bodies into a toxic mush, providing a cleaner and more efficient effect.

"It's so easy to use poison, shouldn't we just use poison from the start?" El said, looking at the five two-tailed wolves that had fallen.

A thought crossed his mind. Using Sky Pearl Poison under these conditions would not only require Dou Qi, but also highly poisonous herbs.

Unfortunately, the herbs El had that contained the poison in Sky Pearl Poison were not many. El felt it was a pity to use herbs that could have been used to concoct pills.

El sighed, feeling that this choice was not very optimal either. "I do have a lot of special energy recovery pills and health pills, but... Using them for that seems like a waste."

After that, El immediately took care of the monsters' lifeless bodies. Deftly, he skinned their skin and fur.

However, only two of them are good enough to be used as clothing, while the rest look ugly and unfit for use.

But it was enough to use, and the other one could be used as a spare.

After neatly skinning the furs and skins, El took out a large boiling cauldron that would be used to boil the furs and skins of the two monsters.

El added water to the cauldron along with some spices and a medicine that could remove the animal's scent. The medicine was one of the random items El bought at the trade area booth.

Moments later, El drained the wolf's fur and skin and began to use some of the materials found on the floor of this maze to strengthen the clothes she wanted to make.

Of course, El utilized Rinnegan's Creation of All Things ability to make this happen.

As a result, two robes of wolf skin and fur were created, each still retaining the fur of its head, body, and both tails.

Thanks to the mixture of some medicines and surrounding materials, the previously gray fur color turned silvery white.

El smiled with satisfaction at the notification and the new equipment that would be used as clothes in his hand.

"Done! Hm, nice design, myself!"

Without hesitation, El put away the stewing cauldron and one of the Wolf Fur Robes, then put on one of the robes that was not put away, hanging it on his back.

With that done, El continued on his way.

On the way, El encountered several different monsters. Among them, a rabbit with big, long legs, white fur, and bright red eyes.

That's the Kickmaster Rabbit, a monster that has the special magic of Air Dance, which increases reaction speed and the ability to move at high speed.

The Kickmaster Rabbit's attacking style is to kick its target. However, El wasn't interested in fighting all the monsters.

Moreover, he also had no intention of saving their fur or mana crystals. Therefore, El ignored them and only killed the monsters that actually got in his way.

Next, he met Claw Bear.

Claw Bear was a large bear with red eyes, who possessed the special magic of Gale Claw, which allowed him to shoot sharp gusts of wind from his pointed nails.

However, like before, El avoided and ignored the monster with ease. He didn't want to waste time fighting such a weak monster, as something more important kept calling him.

Next, El continued on his way, exploring each floor and descending the stairs to the next.

Along the way, he encountered various monsters such as the Basilisk, Gattling Gun Owl, Six-legged Cat Rainbow Frog, Giant Moth, and Tar Shark which he also ignored.

Each floor also has very different terrain.

One of them was the Tar Shark Floor, where monsters with the special magic Hide Presence inhabited the place.

The space on the floor resembled a gloomy cave passage, with rough walls and air that felt damp. A puddle of thick black liquid covered the entire floor, resembling a thick and dangerous-looking mud.

If someone unprepared stepped into it, they would most likely get trapped or even dragged into the darkness of the unknown.
