Yueyao brought Tingzheng to the main room and, after paying their respects, went to pick up Keyue. Unexpectedly, as soon as Keyue saw Tingzheng, she insisted on being held by him and would cry if anyone refused. Once she was up in his arms, no one could get her down without tears.
Zhuang Ruolan laughed and said, "I never expected Keyue to take such a liking to Tingzheng on first sight."
Tingzheng quickly replied, "Eldest Cousin-in-law, I like Keyue too."
Zhuang Ruolan was so amused she could hardly contain herself, "You're such an honest child." Zhuang Ruolan also felt a twinge of regret that Tingzheng was so good-looking; if only Yueyao had been blessed with those looks.
After some frolicking, Keyue was eventually carried away by the wet nurse. Tingzheng then followed Ma Peng to the study. They were probably going to review his homework again.
