Invisible steps lay beneath his feet, through which he could see hundreds of meters below, the sprawling Imperial Capital's architecture stretching into the distance.
A bustling commercial district, streams of traffic flowing endlessly, occasionally rising and falling, along with numerous flying ships and cars.
In the farthest distance, space cruise ships could be seen slowly ascending, heading towards other Empire planets.
Prince Lei Ling's complexion was somewhat pale as he strode into the palace, his feet stepping on the solid stone floor, giving him an inexplicable sense of solidity.
"Has His Majesty the Emperor arrived today?"
He quietly asked the protocol officer standing at the palace gates.
"He's already here," the protocol officer answered respectfully.
The prince nodded and strode inside.
