AN:- SORRY FOR NOT UPLOADING A CHAPTER FOR 10 DAYS, I WAS BUSY. MY GF GOT PREGNENT AND I WAS HANDLING THAT. ANYWAYS, HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY CHAPTER 60.
[PREVIOUSLY ON GAMER PIECE]
Well, he just stops in the air, his head flying back. Luffy stops his head, before pulling it back to place, looking at us–
And us, him.
Round 2 begins baby!!!
Six months—six months of full-on grinding allowed us to stand a chance against Luffy.
There were a couple—no, a LOT—of things that helped all of us grow in strength. First was Haki. I made sure everyone learned Observation Haki, as that is detrimental to everyone. So, Robin, Nami, Usopp, Merry, Wyper, Bentham, Zoro, and Sanji all learned it. Similarly, I also learned something new.
By helping their Haki, my knowledge of Haki also rose, basically giving me experience. My Observation Haki grew the most, being able to sense the entire island without needing the map, and even more. Not only that, but I have somehow gained the ability to understand emotions, even if they are hidden, and Lady-Radar—
Basically, Sanji's version of Observation Haki, which allows me and him to sense a woman's emotion AND if they are in danger by sensing the disturbance in their will. I learned the ability to imbue my Haki into my sword, overflowing it and creating a coating of white flames. For some odd reason, the color of my Haki is white, which, when I discovered, made me confused. I do remember that each person has a distinct color when their Haki flows—for example, Zoro having green flames when he mastered his flow of Haki in canon, Luffy having a red tint in his Haki, both Conqueror and Armament, and Katakuri having purple-colored Conqueror Haki.
Mine is white—as in, the overflow of Haki is white rather than black. As my level of using Haki increases (basically passing Lv50), I can see the color of other people's Haki. Like Zoro having a greenish tint in his Haki, Sanji having a yellowish tint, Nami having an orange tint, etc. I focused on developing everyone's base skills as well as their Haki, and I got to know something interesting.
Haki isn't just willpower; it's the ability to physically fight with other Wills, through their own Wills. The entire power system depends on fighting to the death with nothing but their will, so many people who do not have this mindset of fighting with their Wills don't have the potential to use it. It was shown when Nami, Aisa, Merry, and Franky were not able to use Armament Haki at all, as they didn't have the potential to unlock it—
At least not normally, but with the help of the System, they would be able to learn it. But, they *would* doesn't mean they *will*. All of them didn't have any interest in fighting people with their will. Aisa wants to explore the world, see and sense its wonders. Merry wants to travel with us until the end. Franky wanted to build the greatest ship in existence—which he finished. So, he is satisfied. Not only him, but all those three.
Aisa took an interest in archery, learning from me and Usopp on targeting people through her own senses. She felt useless, always relying on others even as she is a proud Shandorian. I helped her master the bow, allowing her to gain skills regarding that. Usopp and Franky helped with the bows, and she has become Hawkeye with steroid senses.
Franky focuses on his creation more than training and soon becomes close with Usopp out of all of us, due to their similar creative minds. Franky fits right with us, and with his mind, my knowledge, and Usopp—along with Merry's experience in engineering—allows him to make something interesting—
A physical connection to Dante's Inferno. A cockpit is created where Franky can merge his consciousness and body with the ship, allowing Franky to become the ship itself. Franky can use the majority of its functions by himself, and for some odd reason, he likes being a ship more than being the cyborg he already is.
I chuckle, amused at the fact that Franky is instinctively becoming a giant robot similar to Emet, Joyboy's friend who awoke when Luffy was fighting with the Five Elders in Egghead.
Merry focuses more on her Devil Fruit rather than Haki, even if she is excited by the idea of fighting wills with each other. The reason for that is simple: Merry wants to develop her "life" on her own accord. She wants to master her Devil Fruit, even awaken it, as she hopes that it would give her immortality or something like that. Honestly, that is a possibility, as I had discussed it with her and Chopper about it. All Merry could learn was Observation Haki, mostly because I forced everyone to learn about it.
Merry's interest in fighting with Wills allowed her to learn something interesting during the months of training, and that was somehow connecting her life force with someone else, connecting them. This allows her and the opponent to have the same life force, along with any ability connected to said life force—
Which includes Haki. Whether it be Conqueror's Haki, Armament Haki, or even buffing her already existing Observation Haki to the level of her opponent, she can use all her opponents can use. It's really, REALLY busted.
When she trained with Zoro, she used this ability to land a punch which created black lightning, almost knocking out Zoro on the spot, shocking everyone.
Nami isn't a fighter, but a navigator. She didn't even have interest in learning a technique that could help her fight. But she learned Observation Haki, her own innate sensing abilities allowing her to pick it up easily. Nami's ability to sense climate conditions even if she was at death's door is a type of Observation Haki, as rather than sensing other people's Wills, she subconsciously sensed the Will of the world—the Will of the climate.
Everything in this world has a will due to it having a will on its own—it being Gaia. Whether it be rock, or water, or even oxygen, everything has a will, and Nami can sense the change in climates. That was before even learning Observation Haki. Learning it allowed her to actually feel and understand the climates. Honestly, other than me, she has the best Observation Haki in the crew—even better than Sanji, himself having "Lady Sensor," rivaling Aisa.
Honestly, that much would have been enough for her, since her role is navigating rather than fighting, but I took it a step further. I gave her a Devil Fruit which I got a month ago. Honestly, it just popped up in my inventory one day, and it gave me a surprise.
I gave Nami the Rumble Rumble Fruit, which I got after Enel was killed by Kizaru. Kizaru's Devil Fruit didn't appear, so it seems he is still alive—though I don't know how he is still alive. He should be starving and thirsty, dying. He isn't, and I don't know how.
The moment Nami ate the Rumble Rumble Fruit (which she was excited to eat when I told her its capabilities and usage), her Observation Haki literally jumped to the next stage. The development of Haki—especially Observation Haki—only works when they sense things, their senses developing. Luffy only learned Future Sight during his fight with Katakuri, pushing his senses to the point that he could sense things before they happen. While Nami has not gained Future Sight, as she hasn't developed her Observation Haki to that level, she has Enel-level Observation range and skill, allowing her to replicate a Future Sight user.
Her ability to process things faster due to her Devil Fruit allows her to sense someone and predict their movements or words before they are uttered by the feeling of their wills. Not only that, the ability to sense electromagnetic waves in the air allows her to read the mind by feeling the electric signals which travel in the brain.
Well, except mine, as Gamer's Mind negates her sensing abilities on me. My Gamer Mind is similar to the 4th Wall from *Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint*, after all.
One of the persons who surprised me was Bentham, who focused on his Devil Fruit more than anything else. Learning about the concept of Awakening and DNA modification had his imagination racing, and he decided to act on it. Bentham is one of the few people who got the hang of Armament Haki a lot quicker than others—mostly because of his dream.
To show the power of an Okama to the whole world, even topping the strongest Okama in this world, Emporio Ivankov.
Bentham awakened his Devil Fruit as he fought with me, who used bodily manipulations to mimic whatever Bentham was doing. Bentham was copying Chopper's Monster Point—something that Bentham found he could do. His Devil Fruit can copy physical traits of anyone he touches, so he could even copy something like Chopper's enhanced monster form. The thing is, he can only copy the physical traits of someone rather than their ability. Like, he can copy Sanji or Robin, but he cannot use their abilities, such as Diable Jambe or Robin's Devil Fruit.
As I drove a huge Rasengan towards Bentham, Bentham grits his teeth, his hands accidentally touching his face—
Turning into Luffy. B-Luffy's back is stretched as the Rasengan gets absorbed into B-Luffy's body. My eyes widened before B-Luffy flexed his body, shooting back the Rasengan like a cannonball hitting a rubber wall. I easily dodged it, but everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at B-Luffy's shocked expression—
Which turned into excitement as I checked his status. His Devil Fruit has a new information in it—
"I HAVE FINALLY AWAKENED!!" B-Luffy screams in excitement before collapsing to the ground in exhaustion.
Bentham's awakened ability allows him to copy the characteristics of someone he is copying in its entirety, but the limitation is that they need to use it when he is copying it. For example, Bentham was able to transform into Luffy and use his rubbery nature because Luffy's Devil Fruit is always active. But if he copied Robin, he wouldn't be able to use her Devil Fruit powers until he touched her when she was using her power.
In gaming terms, Bentham creates save files whenever he touches someone, and now with his newly awakened ability, he can override the existing save file with a new one. Like, Bentham created a save file when he was lvl 10 with basic equipment and no abilities—the new save file will have him at lvl 100 with maxed-out equipment and many abilities like mana manipulation, fireball, etc. The best thing about this awakening is that it can even copy the mindset and the determination of the people he can copy.
Not only physical attributes but also mental. After trial and error, I was shocked to discover that he can copy Haki from others, similar to Merry's Life-Connection. The moment I explained this to Bentham, he started copying everyone and their abilities.
He copied Sanji when Sanji was using Diable Jambe, allowing him to use it whenever he wanted. He can use Robin's Devil Fruit, Zoro's Three-Sword Style, Asura, and even Conqueror's Haki. Nami's lightning Devil Fruit, Chopper's enhanced Monster Point, Aisa's Observation Haki, Wyper's endurance and Armament Haki, Usopp's sniping abilities, Franky's cyborg abilities. He tried to copy my abilities too—
But it didn't work. My Gamer's Body negates my powers getting copied, which I am grateful for. While I would have no real problem if Bentham did copy my powers, I still like to somehow gatekeep it. While the whole party system is me sharing my power, I wouldn't want Bentham to start dropping fireballs out of nowhere.
The most reluctant to gain a huge power-up were Sanji and Zoro. Zoro didn't want external power-ups, as he still hasn't accepted it like the others. For Zoro, all the powers he gains should be of his own hard work, rather than some external power helping him. I really didn't know how to convince such a stubborn-headed person like Zoro, so I only had one option.
Beat his ass in a fight.
I challenged Zoro in a 1v1, full-powered fight. Nothing holding us back.
We start fighting, sword slashing against sword, before I abandoned that strategy and started using my mana-based attacks, like fire, which Zoro negated with wind slashes. The fight escalated, and I used my more powerful moves, like light manipulation and physical enhancement attacks like Rokushiki techniques, Fissure, and even
Well,
One thing I noticed about Haki in general is that sword users already have Advanced Armament Haki. The process of infusion is literally how Emission works, but while infusion is flowing the Haki out of the body into a weapon, Emission works without a weapon. By flowing the Haki out of his body, Zoro already knows how to do Advanced Armament Haki, aka Ryuo.
The fight leads to Zoro losing, even if Zoro used Asura, which is easily countered with Advanced Armament—EMISSION. Even if Zoro promised Luffy he would never lose, he technically didn't as I am not a swordsman. I am an all-rounder after all. Still, Zoro was as stubborn as ever, not wanting to use The Gamer System to get stronger, even though he learnt Armament Haki and Observation Haki much faster through it. I try to think of a power-up suitable for Zoro, but only come up with his canon power-ups. He needs Enma, which would force him to unleash more Haki than he wants, so he could train with it.
He could even let all of his Haki be drained so that he could unlock Advanced Conqueror's Haki, as Enma allowed him to instantly adapt to the usage of Advanced Conqueror Haki, and according to Gaban in the latest chapters, Zoro's body was at ease with outputting Conqueror Haki, so all I needed to do is unlock it. As I was thinking about it, it came to mind.
Enma forcefully releases Haki from its wielder in order to test their worthiness, similar to my Seven-Star Sword, but rather than Haki, it's life force, i.e., HP. I completely devoured that ability, leading me to get
Zoro really tried to kill me for breaking his sword, the key word being *tried*. As an apology, I gave him my own sword, the Seven-Star. The moment he held that sword, I used my sword as a medium to use
I give him the same explanation as Enma, and Zoro immediately becomes determined to master the sword. While I am sad that I don't have a powerful sword, I am excited about another prospect. With Yubashiri destroyed and Zoro already getting a new sword, Shisui is mine. This delights me, as having a black blade is awesome as fuck. During the training, I devour tiny bits of Zoro's Haki which motivates him even more to master the sword. This motivation finally allows him to unlock Conqueror's Haki, and with me devouring his Haki, he figures out Advanced Conqueror's Haki as well.
The disadvantage that Zoro and I come to know is that Zoro's body is too weak to handle the full output of his Conqueror's Will. He needs to get stronger to fully use his Conqueror's Haki and can only use it sparingly. He is on a timer, so he focuses on developing his physical body to catch up to his will.
I talked to Zoro about his meeting with Goku, and he told me that he was supposed to take a right turn, but he took a left one instead, leading him to a mountain where two houses were there. When Zoro knocked on it, a man came out—spiky hair—who was surprised at Zoro before seeing his little kid, who is around 14–15 years old carrying a book with the face of Zoro on it—
The book was named One Piece. After asking more about it, I realized Zoro not only met Goku, but also a ninja named Naruto, a dude named Ichigo who had two swords, a kid with a mark on his head ALSO having a sword, a teenager with a spiral keychain on his neck, a young man with a trench coat and blurry face, whispering about killing himself for the nth time, a man who had black hair and dead eyes, talking about a Gu named Spring Autumn Cicada, a giant of a man, mostly fat, with an axe on one hand, a hammer on another, a bald man whose skin is like ash, a weird rat which has electricity in its body, a naked lady—
Yeah, you get it.
While I can help develop everyone in one way or another, Sanji is a case that I didn't know what to do, as his power-ups come from his genetics, rather than techniques or Haki. Me, Chopper, and Sanji discussed a way to unlock his latent enhancements, which he was reluctant to do. Even after confirming to him that he wouldn't change. Chopper and I did develop a drug that would awaken his genes, but Sanji didn't eat it, still reluctant. As everybody started growing stronger, Sanji didn't know what to do.
From being equal to Zoro to being so behind him, to the point that Wyper, Nami, Bentham, and even Chopper exceeded him in power, making him agitated. Sanji is primarily a cook, and he will always be a cook first, a fighter second. But the reason he fights is to protect the crew from harm, which he couldn't do at all. The people whom he was supposed to protect are much stronger than him, and Sanji doesn't know how to feel about that.
During one of our spars, Sanji is much more distracted than usual, and everyone notices this. Especially Zoro.
"So the twirly brows forgot to fight huh? Makes sense. He always cooks, and he was never a fighter anyways." Sanji snaps his legs towards Zoro, abandoning his fight with Bentham as he is pissed.
Zoro raises Wado Ichimonji, before adding Conqueror's Haki through it and touches Sanji's leg—
As Sanji's leg gets pushed back with a force that sends Sanji to the ground, holding his leg in pain.
"Out of everyone, a cook cannot really fight." Zoro spits on the ground before getting up and walking towards me as I look over to Sanji, easily knowing what Zoro is doing. Zoro can easily see what Sanji is suffering with, and that is his reluctance to fight. Somehow, Sanji thought that fighting with the help of The Gamer System would unlock his latent gene, which he is scared of. That is why Sanji is only focusing on developing his Rokushiki techniques and Haki, already getting confirmation from me that it wouldn't affect his DNA in any way, shape, or form.
Zoro knows Sanji enough and respects Sanji's strength to see he is holding back. Seeing one of the few people he considers his rival holding back because he is scared is pissing him off. Just before he puts his sword in his mouth, Zoro speaks once more:
"If you are scared, be scared. Stop holding us down." Right as he says this, he immediately dashes towards me, as I dodge his attack before counteracting.
Sanji grits his teeth before getting up and drinking an HP potion, healing his injured leg. He puts a tablet in his mouth right as he rushes towards Bentham, who immediately changes into Zoro, getting random swords from the inventory. This infuriates Sanji, giving him the push he needs to fight with B-Zoro with all his might, feeling the changes in his body and adapting to it, finally awakening his genetic modifications. His eyebrows flip to the opposite, finally showing his awakening.
During the training, I thought that Sanji would awaken Conqueror's Haki because it was hinted that he could be one of the people who have it when Gaban talked about Conqueror's Haki, but after Zoro unlocked it, I realized one of the biggest conditions to unlock it is the will to dominate other people's will for the sake of their own dreams and ambitions. They should have the qualities of a King, but most importantly, they need to be able to dominate other people's will, making them subservient to them or make them unconscious by overpowering their own will.
Sanji's kindness makes it impossible for him to dominate other people's will.
Chopper, who was focusing much more on the Lineage Factor, is mostly stuck with me, as I use Google and my own intelligence to discuss stuff with him. After a month of us discussing it, Chopper finally dives into it, drawing his blood and figuring out the blueprint of him. Nami is used as an observation as Chopper knows that Devil Fruits affect the Lineage Factor. So he has data from pre-Devil Fruit Nami and post-Devil Fruit Nami, seeing the data and finally figuring it out.
How to modify and alter it, which he uses to create a drug to awaken Sanji's dormant genes. Chopper dives into his Lineage Factor as well, somehow figuring out the way to flip his Lineage Factor. Chopper becomes obsessed with it, and even if he did learn Observation Haki, he didn't train with it, abandoning Armament Haki altogether.
Chopper's own Lineage Factor is of a deer, and eating the Human-Human Fruit added some human Lineage Factor into it, creating Chopper the hybrid. Chopper figures out a way to harness his own Lineage Factor, AND aspects of his own body. During this time, Chopper figured out a way to transform into all of his various points without the need for Rumble Balls, even Monster Point. Understanding the Lineage Factor allowed him to control Monster Point's berserk impulses as well, reducing the time limit by a lot. But the best thing he figured out was to harness the effects of the Rumble Ball.
The Rumble Ball distorts the wavelength of the Lineage Factor, allowing Chopper to access more forms, but Chopper figured out a way to distort the wavelength and weaponize it, able to create lightning from his body. This ability is similar to the Minks' ability to create bio-electricity from their body. Not only did Chopper generate lightning by reproducing the electric signals that are in his brain, but he also figured out something very interesting.
Chopper can replicate Devil Fruit abilities, making him a copy of Bentham. By checking Bentham, Chopper identified that the Lineage Factor had evolved when he had awakened it, and Chopper can now add it into his own body in order to clone other Devil Fruits. He copied Robin's Devil Fruit as well, as well as figured out a way to awaken someone's Devil Fruit as well, without the need of a Rumble Ball.
Honestly, Chopper is the one who has most benefited from the time skip, as he has found Vegapunk levels of discovery in Lineage Factors, not only evolving himself, but also the others. The only people not affected by this discovery are me, Zoro, Merry, Aisa, and Wyper.
Speaking of Wyper, he is the one who surprised me, as I didn't think he had the capability of Conqueror's Haki. But thinking about it, it made sense. Wyper was fighting Enel and Skypian people for YEARS in hopes of getting his motherland back, and not only that, he is the leader of the Shandorian people, leading them through thick and thin. He fits every single necessary requirement for having Conqueror's Haki.
Due to being Shandorian, his body is much sturdier than anyone in the crew, and so when he awakens Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki through the Gluttonous Method, he changes his fighting style. He is one of the people who have insane potential in using Haki, learning about it much faster than anyone, except Zoro and Nami. Me, Franky, and Usopp create a new Gauntlet from his cannon, which similarly works like before. The mechanisms of dials are added into the gauntlet, so it can fire cannon blasts just like before, but now it can also gather kinetic energy and redistribute it into the punches.
Seeing Luffy use kinetic energy gave Wyper this idea, and so when making the gauntlet, he wanted Reject Dials to be put in. Wyper hardens his entire body with Armament Haki, similar to Vergo, whenever he uses the gauntlet, so that the backlash of the Reject Dials is reduced on him. Due to changing his fighting style, he is able to easily grasp the advanced application of Conqueror's Haki, becoming one of the two people in the crew to be able to do it. But he isn't able to learn Advanced Armament because he doesn't know Infusion, and he hasn't fought to the death using Armament Haki yet, so his Haki isn't improved to the point he can use the advanced application of Armament Haki.
Usopp is a similar case to Chopper, focusing much more on his weapons rather than his Haki. He is one of the few people to quickly learn Observation Haki, and even Armament Haki—both Hardening and Infusion. Usopp is mostly a sniper, so he hangs out with Franky to upgrade his Kabuto. Due to not spending two years in a wild forest, Usopp doesn't gain his Plant fighting style, instead sticking with dials and such.
Seeing everyone using kinetic energy also allowed him to use it as well, as every attack is enhanced by kinetic energy AND Armament Haki, making him deadly. But Usopp only focuses on sniping rather than fighting head-on, as that's his role. He still remains one of the weakest of the crew, alongside Aisa, but it doesn't affect him.
As he is content. During the 6 months, I told Usopp about his "alternate" self, the one who became the Brave Warrior of the Seas. Basically, a bunch of lies where I made Alternate Usopp have feats that brave people do. For example, I told Usopp that he was leading the giants into a war with the World Government, because he is the one who inspired them to be brave. Usopp is ecstatic, and wants to become like the Alternate Usopp, so he comes out of his shell bit by bit, becoming confident in himself.
Robin is the one who doesn't have interest in fighting, even though she quickly learned Armament Haki and Observation Haki—mostly because I forced her to. Robin was able to use Haki because she has the mindset for it due to her years of solitude and running. Her will to survive is what allowed her to use Haki, but Robin isn't interested in it.
Every single day, she sits by me and asks me questions about this world, about my world, and about any other world I know. And so, I tell her everything—
From the universe I came from, the world wars, the religions, the people who became famous, etc. I told her the history of this world, I told her the history of Marvel, the history of DC, the history of all the universes, whether real or fictional—
EVERYTHING.
I told her all of this while we were having sex, having lunch made by Sanji, or just training. Any free time, she asks me any question on her mind, and I answer it. Robin and I grow a lot closer than before, and Sanji has tears of blood, as even he can tell me and Robin have been doing it. Even someone like Zoro knows we have been doing it, and that makes him weirded out, as he hasn't thought anything like that.
Oh poor him, and even Sanji. I will make sure I get both of them some pussy before we fight for our life in the war.
Now for myself, all I did was level up my existing skills, nothing more. I focused my entire time on helping the others catch up to the level me and Luffy are. I leveled many of my skills to MAX, and even gained some new skills.
Thanks to Wind Manipulation, I was able to separate wind from the sand, leading to ground being left, which I learned to manipulate, allowing me
The biggest level-up was me leveling up my
And I successfully hopped the dimension. I arrived at my home, and saw two random people having sex in my bed—
Yeah, fuck that. I disappeared, and arrived somewhere far from my apartment, and found information about what happened after my death. My body was disposed of by my landlord, and he gave the house up to rent once again. I just raised my eyebrow at that information before shrugging, as I didn't really care enough about that anymore.
I checked some places I knew, ate some dishes I missed, bought some souvenirs (more stealing than buying) before hopping back into One Piece Verse—
Into a ship that I recognized, but is not OURS. I blink in surprise as I turn towards the person sitting on the head of a lion figurehead, wearing a straw hat. I look at everything around me, recognizing all of it—the people, the place, and the thing I am standing on.
"What the hell?" Zoro, with one of his eyes having a cut, looks at me, bringing out a sword that I recognize is Enma. The person sitting on the figurehead turns, making me notice the X-shaped scar on his chest.
I disappear once again, amused that I somehow hopped into the original timeline. But I get an idea. Since I am to cause chaos, why not do it here? I appear in front of Zoro, grabbing onto his sword Enma as I kick him with Armament Haki - EMISSION. Zoro is surprised at me appearing in front of him, and then I immediately disappear—
"My sword—"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
