A month had passed since the incident, and Purnavardha was back to being a peaceful village.
Amidst the market stood a statue of someone.
"Mama... whose statue is that?
An innocent child asked his mother, eager to know about it.
"Well... It's of a warrior called Yadav. He protected our village against the Licchavis"
The mother's reply inspired the child and ignited his will to become someone like Yadav.
"I will become someone like...Yadav!"
The mother smiled upon hearing her son's ambition.
"Sukoh Yadav eh?"
Huh?
The mother turned around. A strange man stood behind her, wearing a black robe like that of a monk, marked with the Chinese character 火 (fire). His long hair was tied at the back, and a red earring with a strange symbol hung from his left ear.
The perplexed mother asked the man who he was.
"Where is Sukoh Yadav?"
The man's chilling voice paralysed the mother, causing her to wobble as she tried to speak.
"I... don't know!"
She still didn't understand what made her like that, but the man's glare with those red eyes made her sweat.
"Xi.."
She quickly held her child and shouted in the market.
"Someone... help!!"
Men came running with weapons and surrounded that strange man.
"Where is Yadav?"
He repeated the same question. The men weren't ready to answer him.
"Everyone, attack!!"
One man shouted, and the rest charged at him.
The man stood calm. Little did they know he could summon hell.
All of the men ran to that strange creature.
In an instant he held one of their heads and twisted it.
CRACK!!
A sudden leap into this head and a plunge amidst the others.
THRSSSHHH!!!!
A punch like a hammer breaking the skull of three people
THUD!
They all fell instantly, struck down by demonic strength.
His hair flying in the air, he continued to punch all the others like a rain of arrows.
More men came to the spot with weapons. He observed all of them.
The next moment, a multitude approached to slash him.
With bare hands, he caught all of their weapons and slashed off their heads. On the other hand, he held another man by the neck and threw him to the crowd of people, blocking them.
A warrior dashed forward to stab him. He caught the warrior's head and impaled it with the man's sword.
A grotesque figure fell, having slashed his own neck, instilling fear in the others.
"Call the army!!"
The news reached the ears of the commander.
"Everyone, head out!!"
The commander instantly ordered the army of 100 to head to the spot.
"What the hell..?"
The corpses of all these villagers.
"Who is he..?"
The moment they arrived, everyone charged. The Commander led the soldiers with the intent to chop off his head.
The commander drew his sword to slash away his head.
SLRRRSSSHHHH!!!!
"My sword...."
The commander's sword disappeared from his hands, and the next moment, he saw the head of his horse flying.
"Wha...t?"
Blood was being sprayed all over him like rain.
"This man...?
"Soldiers go..."
The army surrounded the man to kill him by limiting the space.
The man couldn't be restrained by something as simple as that.
He again punched several soldiers and killed all of them. Climbing over the horses, jumping over several soldiers and landing on them.
With a single move, twisting their heads and breaking them.
"What is... he?"
The commander on another horse dashed to kill him again.
The man was also heading towards the commander. A sudden leap, he was on top of his horse, and again he plunged. With his left hand touching the commander's head.
THRESSSHHH!!!
The hand transformed into a fist, hitting his head like a meteorite. His skull was crushed, and his eyes bloodshot. That instant his soul departed.
The man stood amidst the corpses of the army, slowly walking towards the mother and child, asking the same.
"Where is Sukoh Yadav..?"
