Huo Jingtang and Qin Yucen stood in the hotel corridor, the soft warm lighting above their heads sprinkled around them, casting a hazy glow that made the world seem quiet as if only the two of them existed.
"Good night," Qin Yucen said to him, giving him a sweet smile before parting.
Huo Jingtang was unwilling to let go and caught her fingers, "It's so late for you to go back, you might disturb Casey's rest. Why not just sleep on my side?"
"I'll be quiet; I won't wake Casey." Qin Yucen knew he just wanted to keep her there, to lure her into bed, but she wasn't foolish enough to fall into his tender trap.
