Chapter 4
As he gazed at the flowers, his family noticed the change in him. Lu smiled knowingly, while Zhuo grinned mischievously. Yu Chen patted him on the back, saying, "Looks like someone's got it bad, little brother!"
Xian Zhan blushed, but he couldn't deny it. He felt like he was walking on air, his heart full of hope and joy.
Just then, his phone buzzed. A text from Wang Yibo: "Can we meet up tonight?"
Xian Zhan's heart skipped a beat. He couldn't believe how much he wanted to all this...to be true.
"Go for it, little brother," Zhuo encouraged, as if reading his mind.
Xian Zhan smiled, feeling a sense of freedom he'd never known before.
"Yeah, why not? Life is full of firsts, right?"
And with that, he texted Wang Yibo back, his heart racing with excitement:
"Yes, I'd love to."
Xian Zhan arrived at the agreed meeting spot, his heart racing with anticipation. Wang Yibo was already there, looking handsome and charming. They exchanged greetings, and Xian Zhan felt his heart warm.
But as they sat down, Wang Yibo's expression turned serious. "Xian Zhan, I need to tell you something."
"What is it?" Xian Zhan asked, his mind racing.
Wang Yibo took a deep breath. " It's about the flower, my father has been pushing me, And I...I went along with it, to please him."
Xian Zhan's eyes widened in shock. "So, everything you've done...the flowers, the sweet talk...it was all just an act?"
Wang Yibo nodded, his eyes apologetic. "I'm sorry, Xian Zhan. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to make it look good for my father's sake."
Xian Zhan felt like he'd been punched in the face. He couldn't believe he'd almost fallen for it.
"You're unbelievable, Mr. Wang," he said, his voice shaking with anger and disappointment.
Wang Yibo grinned, i can't believe you think otherwise, you lay the conditions and i accepted it, so what do you expect?
Xian Zhan stood up, his heart heavy with disillusionment. "Let's just get one thing clear: we're not in love, and we're not getting married for real. Got it?"
Wang Yibo nodded, his eyes glue with his. "Got it."
And with that, Xian Zhan walked away, leaving Wang Yibo and his schemes behind.
Xian Zhan couldn't believe he'd almost fallen for Wang Yibo's tricks. He felt angry and disappointed, but also relieved that he'd seen through the facade before it was too late.
As he walked away from the meeting spot, he couldn't help but wonder what else Wang Yibo and his father had planned. He knew he had to be careful, but he also knew he couldn't let them get the best of him.
Just then, his phone buzzed. A text from Lu: "Hey, little brother, how did it go with Wang Yibo?"
Xian Zhan sighed, unsure of how much to reveal. But he knew he could trust his sister. "It was a disaster, Jie. Wang Yibo admitted that everything was an act, and his father is behind it all."
Lu's response was immediate. "What a jerk! Don't worry, we'll get through this together. Meet me at home, and we'll figure out our next move."
Xian Zhan nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards his family. He knew he wasn't alone in this, and with their support, he could face whatever came next.
As he walked towards home, he felt a sense of determination growing inside him. He wouldn't let Wang Yibo and his father get away with their schemes. He would fight back, and he would come out on top.
The Wangs family arrived in Beijing, eager to celebrate Yibo and Xian Zhan's special day. Yibo's mother, Mrs. Wang, was accompanied by Yibo's brother, sister-in-law, and their adorable daughters.
However, tensions arose when Mrs. Wang confronted her ex-husband, Yibo's father, about her disapproval of their son's marriage to a man. The argument escalated, with Mr. Wang defending his son's happiness and Yibo's mother refusing to accept it.
"You've turned our son into a gay!" Yibo's mother accused, her voice stern.
Mr. Wang stood his ground. "Yibo is still the same person, and his sexual orientation doesn't define him. You should be supporting him, not condemning him!"
Yibo intervened, his voice calm but firm. "Mother, I understand your concerns, but I'm happy with Xian Zhan. Please respect my decision."
The argument ended with a stalemate, but Yibo's family remained united in their support for him and Xian Zhan. The wedding proceeded with joy and love, celebrating the union of two souls.
Wedding Day
Xian Zhan's family buzzed around him, helping him into his sleek white suit. Lu adjusted his tie, while Zhuo straightened his lapels. Yu Chen beamed with pride, giving him a final once-over.
"You look stunning, little brother," Lu said, her eyes shining with tears.
Xian Zhan blushed, feeling a mix of emotions. He couldn't believe this day had finally arrived.
Meanwhile, at the Wang residence, Wang Yibo was getting ready, his black tuxedo fitting him like a glove. His eyes gleamed with confidence as he gazed in the mirror.
The ceremony venue was a picturesque garden, filled with blooming flowers and soft music. Xian Zhan's heart raced as he walked down the aisle, his eyes locking onto Wang Yibo's piercing gaze.
The vows were exchanged, rings placed on fingers, and a soft kiss sealed their union. Applause erupted as they turned to face their guests, beaming with happiness.
The reception was a whirlwind of food, drink, and merriment, surrounded by cheering friends and family.
As the night drew to a close, they made their way to the Wang Mansion, where a grand feast awaited them. Xian Zhan's heart swelled with gratitude towards his new family, feeling a sense of belonging he never thought possible.
Little did he know, this was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
The grand halls of the Wang Mansion buzzed with laughter and chatter as the wedding party and guests arrived for the wedding celebration. Xian Zhan's eyes widened as he took in the opulence surrounding him.
Wang Yibo smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "Welcome to our home, my wife." he said the word with smirk, husband, Xian Zhan corrected him glaring at him.
As they entered the grand ballroom, Xian Zhan's heart skipped a beat. The room was filled with relatives, friends, and business associates, all gathered to celebrate their union.
Yibo's father , Mr. Wang, beamed with joy, his earlier argument with his ex-wife forgotten. "Come, let me introduce you to our family and friends," he said, leading Xian Zhan by the hand.
As they mingled, Xian Zhan felt a sense of belonging he never thought possible. Yibo's family and friends welcomed him with open arms, making him feel like part of the family.
But amidst the joy and laughter, Xian Zhan noticed Yibo's mother, standing alone, her eyes fixed on them with a mix of disapproval and sadness. Xian Zhan's heart went out to her, knowing that acceptance would take time.
As the night wore on, Xian Zhan and Wang Yibo shared their first dance as husbands, surrounded by cheering guests. The music was enchanting, and Xian Zhan felt like he was floating on air, his heart filled with happiness.
But as they danced, Xian Zhan's eyes met Yibo's mother's, and he sensed a deep sadness behind her gaze. He knew that acceptance would take time, but he hoped that one day, Yibo's mother would come to understand and appreciate him.
After the dance, Yibo's father approached them, a warm smile on his face. "I'm so happy to see you both so happy,"he said, his eyes shining with tears. "Welcome to the family, Xian Zhan. You are now a part of us, and we love you dearly."
Xian Zhan felt a lump form in his throat, touched by his words. "Thank you, Mr. Wang. That means the world to me."
From today on words it's Dad for you, Mr. Wang said.
As the celebration continued, Xian Zhan knew that this was just the beginning of their new life together. And he was excited to face whatever came next, as long as he had his family by his side.
