Cornelia walked into the room to find Cassius standing beside his bed with Rose looking sad as she stared at him.
"Here are the change of clothes, Master," Cornelia said as she placed the dress down on the bed.
Cassius nodded, "She needs to shower," He said, glancing at Rose; for some reason, he couldn't hold her gaze anymore.
Her words were still echoing in his head. She said she loved him, he got what he wanted: for her to love him and for him to make her suffer; then, why was he feeling so confused? He should know what to do, right? He should make her suffer from here on, right?
That idea was suddenly a torture to his head.
"No, I want him to give me a shower," Rose wiped her tears and pointed at Cassius.
Cornelia cleared her throat and glanced at Cassius, "Um, he can't, Rose. He's already too kind to let you stay in his room and lie on his bed. Come on, you've got to shower and leave," Cornelia went to hold Rose's hand, but Cassius stopped her.
"Let her be," He said.
