An unconscious Eiji woke up in the hospital bed.
"W-what happened??!...huh???.."
Then the memories flooded in his mind all at once at what happened before he passed out.
Clutching his head in pain for a moment, he gasp in worry about his two teammates!
"!!!"
"Marco! Akai!!"

He stood up hastily, even with bandages in his body and in pain, then the sound of the room's knob being opened echoed out and suddenly a doctor and an assassin with his cloak on entered the room.
They had heard the noises in the room and thought that he might have woken up and decided to check up on him.
"Good! You're awake!"
The doctor said so, as he sat in the chair beside him.
"Looking at what you are about to do, I guess you're worried about your teammates, but dont worry, first I will tell you your physical condition first!"
The old doctor didn't wait for Eiji's answer and continued.
"You have two ribs broken and bruises as well as burns in your body, you still shouldn't get up now! You were unconscious for two days, and your body should be very weak right now, so don't push yourself!"
"Aarrghhh!!"
As if on cue, Eiji felt the pain in his chest, then his whole body.
Still, he looked at the doctor, but before he could talk, the doctor waved his hand.
"If you're wondering about your teammates, they are alive, but it's not exactly an injury that can be healed easily.
One of them had five ribs broken, and had his head hit from the impact which made him still unconscious till now.
The other one, though with just sprains and bruises, he had a more severe burns in him, other than a special and higher grade healing pills, the burns in him might be permanent!"
"!!"
Eiji couldn't help but be sad as he heard what the doctor said.
Marco should be the one with five broken ribs as he flung him away but because of the impact of the explosion it made him flew way higher in the air.
As for Akai, he was still halfway being engulfed in darkness, then.. his upper body should now be...
"Huuuuuhhhh!!"
Eiji took a deep breath as thought about the condition of his teammates and felt sad.
Then the other man, the assassin, finally talked.
"As for the mission, you do not have to worry, we managed to finish it!"
"I see..."
Eiji nodded his head.
"Hmm! Take your time to heal, I will inform the commander of your status as well as the others.
You guys did great by not dying, the ones that were after him from the past few weeks died because of that unexpected tools he had been carrying that's why no one was able to tell us the information about them, only this time that we managed to know that he has that type of weapon at his disposal.
That was one of the Scholar Department's research from the last era, it's called an explosive device.
They said that if they create a more powerful one of it, they could possibly obliterate cities and even the whole kingdom!"
( A/N : I will now refer to the lost civilization as Last era)
"What?!"
Eiji widened his eyes at his words, a single one of that thing managed to injure Master level swordsmen like them with enhanced body and an automated ki defenses, but they could still create a more powerful one of that?
Eiji couldn't imagine how many people would die if one of that was created and was used right now.
"Alright! I will be going now! Proceed with the protocol and report to the commander when you guys have healed and return to the headquarters!
"Yessir!!"
Eiji nodded his head as the man left the room.
Then Eiji talked with the doctor about his and his teammates recovery status.
Eiji and the other two would then spend the next month to rest and recover before they could go back to Hurricane City.
