"That girl is very likely already dead."
Sonia emphasized again, "It's obvious that the other party was willing to abandon her original body. Either she suffered severe injuries or she was in a dire situation."
"So much time has passed. Even if you reach the other world, you'll ultimately gain nothing."
"I still have to try."
Roger softly repeated.
Sonia hesitated for a moment, "Let's go, we'll leave here. Take me to see that girl."
Roger knew Sonia was referring to Amanda's body.
After some time conversing, her complexion improved slightly; then, she leapt into the air and soared out of the Abyss.
There was finally a glimmer of hope. Roger let out a long breath and turned to glance at the other side. Anna had already withdrawn the defensive barrier from her body.
"Going back?"
"Let's go to the place I mentioned and take a look."
Anna hesitated for a moment but eventually shook her head.
"I will go back, but I need some time."
