Why do so many people bookmark this fan fic?
I'm thinking about the story and haven't begun the rewrite. I think I'm very good at settings like background of characters, the system functions and so on.
But I know that I lack experience in writting the plot itself. Everytime I have an idea of a new plot, I write it very complicated, because I think the chliche way is boring.
Also while Hunter x Hunter has a lot of sub plots and new characters that don't really get used for example Zepile or Leorio who was supposed to be as important of a character as Gon, Killua and Kurapika.
But I'm not Togashi that can pull this off. Togashi's formular isn't that hard: interesting idea, built everything around that idea.
Still, it's incredibly hard to pull off. My point is I wanna write a good story beyond the Hunter x Hunter world with Togiri, but I'm afraid of writing garbage.
I don't think anyone knows bur the novel that is currently online is the third rewrite.
The first version ended in 8 chapters and like thousand words. Basically the character which wasn't even named Togiri back then also had the mission to become the strongest.
The intial plan was for the mc to be eaten by the Chimera Ant Queen and be reborn as Meruem and because he has a skill that won't let him forget any memories, he would remember.
Then he fights those fake gods on an arena and gets oneshot.
XD—This was the whole plot. No world building, side characters or anything.
Second version was written too stupid. Togiri was weaker than Killua and Fang was too strong.
In the Hunter Exam Fang faced Hisoka and died too, and got revived too, but in his ultimate perfect form like adult Gon, except that it was permanent.
Differences were Hisoka gets killed by unconscious adult Fang and after the Hunter Exam both Togiri and Fang follow the redt to Killua's estate.
Togiri fights with butlers because he wants a wish from Alluka/Nanika and gets almost killed by Zeno.
Fang easily defeats silver and Zeno and feed them an emotional food/fruit from his Nen ability where they both are then manipulated to trust Togiri.
I thought this was good writing until a week later when I realized what is this shit.
