Chapter 357 - Chapter 357

Before Thor could say a word, Loki immediately agreed and calmly stared at the fire bull monster.

This left Thor standing there awkwardly, his face twitching as he didn't know what to say. In the end, he simply walked up beside Loki.

"In a moment, you use Frostmourne's frost energy to bind it. I'll find a way to kill it."

Thor quickly recovered from his embarrassment and gave a simple, direct instruction.

"Sure. That's probably the best strategy you could come up with."

Loki wasn't surprised by the suggestion. In his mind, Thor had never been a strategist—just a brute force type.

Just as the two were about to strike—

A massive golden rope suddenly appeared in the sky, snaring the fire bull monster and dragging it backward!

The sudden change stunned both Thor and Loki. They had no idea what had just happened.

Then, in the endless horde of monsters behind the fire bull, bolts of golden lightning erupted.

The lightning seemed to have a will of its own. When it struck one group of monsters, it would automatically arc toward others, growing stronger with each batch it destroyed.

"Uwooooooo!!"

The fire bull monster's body turned red-hot, and the volcanoes on its back erupted furiously as it tried to break free from the golden rope.

But no matter how hard it struggled, it couldn't snap the golden bonds—in fact, it only got bound tighter.

By now, the countless golden bolts of lightning had wiped out an untold number of monsters, growing thicker and more powerful with each kill.

Then—

All the lightning bolts converged onto the fire bull. When they struck, an overwhelming golden flash burst forth, blinding everyone from seeing what was happening.

When the light faded—

The towering fire bull was nothing more than a charred corpse, completely lifeless.

The golden rope casually swung it around like a weapon and hurled the corpse into the oncoming horde, smashing even more monsters.

The next moment—

The Ancient One descended from the sky, calmly gazing at the sea of monsters below.

She gave a quick glance toward Thor and Loki in the town, but didn't say anything—instead, she focused entirely on her spellcasting.

A massive magic circle materialized in the air above, several times larger than before.

Under its light, the Ancient One's figure, hands weaving complex gestures, looked as divine as a celestial goddess.

"My god… another deity?!"

"She's incredible! Was that magic just now?"

"She wiped out so many monsters in an instant—she's stronger than those two combined!"

"Goddess! You're amazing!"

The townspeople stared in awe at the Ancient One's display of power, their hearts full of admiration and praise.

Thor and Loki, now standing among the crowd, were entirely overlooked.

Which made things rather awkward for the two gods.

"Ahem… Little brother, you know—if we had acted, we totally could've taken down that thing. She just beat us to it, that's all. We were giving her a chance to shine—it's not because we're weak."

Thor rubbed his nose, trying to find any excuse to save face.

"Uh-huh… right…"

Loki didn't know how to respond to that. He just nodded and let out a helpless grunt.

Meanwhile, the Ancient One remained unaware of how much admiration she was receiving.

She was focused solely on the spell.

In the next second, the surrounding space began to distort—and the scale of the distortion grew rapidly.

Within moments, the area surrounding the blood pool for several hundred meters began twisting like a vortex.

Any monster that touched the twisted space was randomly teleported elsewhere within the same zone.

No matter what position they took, what attacks they tried, whether it was a massive charge or even kilometer-tall monsters—

They could not escape the distorted space.

Even if they attacked, their strikes would randomly hit some unfortunate monster within the same space.

"What the hell is going on?"

Tony Stark stared, dumbfounded, at the warped space in the distance.

"The space has been altered into a circular loop—it's become inescapable!"

Natasha's voice was filled with shock as she explained.

"What? That's insane!"

Tony couldn't help but cry out in amazement.

"That's the Ancient One's magic! Only she can pull off something like that!"

Wong, standing beside them, shouted excitedly.

"This woman… is incredible."

Tony felt his lips go dry.

Once again, he was overwhelmed by how powerful the Ancient One was—

and it made him feel small.

"But trapping the monsters isn't enough. We need to find a way to stop the blood pool from spawning more of them."

Rhodey landed from the sky and spoke urgently.

"I know. But to stop the monsters from emerging, we'd need to unleash a force powerful enough to scare whatever's inside… something like a planet-busting attack."

Tony's face twisted into a troubled frown. After all, how could they possibly unleash that kind of power?

While Tony was still thinking—

A three-headed wolf-like creature suddenly leapt toward him.

"Watch out!"

Not far away, Strange saw it and immediately swung the Apocalypse Revelation Staff, blasting the creature away.

"Don't forget—we're still in a war!"

Strange panted as he reminded Tony.

"Thanks—uh… wait."

Tony's attention was drawn to the staff.

"Right! That reward you got… it was said to be able to pierce through the Earth, wasn't it?"

He pointed at the staff in Strange's hand.

"Yes. The description on the screen said if I use it at full power, it can penetrate the planet."

Strange nodded.

At that moment, silence fell over the group.

Everyone present was smart enough to instantly understand what Tony was suggesting.

"You want me to use the Apocalypse Revelation Staff at full power—to strike into the blood pool!!"

Strange exclaimed in shock.

"Yes. That might be our only shot."

Tony replied, dead serious.

"I should warn you—I've never used more than fifty percent of its power. I don't know what could happen. If something goes wrong, it could be a disaster."

Strange reminded him cautiously.

"Regardless, we have to try. Otherwise, we'll all be exhausted and overwhelmed sooner or later!"

Tony's eyes were full of determination.

"Haaaah…"

Strange wrestled with the decision for a moment, then looked toward Wong.

Wong nodded. There was no better plan.

"Alright, I'll try. But we need to get closer to the blood pool."

Strange agreed to Tony's plan—they were going to take a gamble.
