Moira is the Four Fate Goddesses, but the Four Fate Goddesses are not exactly Moira.
This statement is correct, but how should it be explained? Essentially, Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos, and Keres, the four goddesses of fate, are all independent beings. When they merge, they form the Fate Goddess, Moira—this is undeniable.
But what exactly is Moira's origin? It's similar to the gathering of the 3,000 Dream Gods. Whether it's the Four Fate Goddesses or the 3,000 Dream Gods, they are separate deities, but their essence is the same. When these multiple gods are linked by their shared origin, they merge into a whole, forming a unique entity—this is beyond doubt. When this unity happens, it gives rise to something special.
This is how Moira, a fusion deity, came into being. Fusion deities like Moira have always existed, but only as a concept. It is only when the Four Fate Goddesses fully unite—combining their divine power, bodies, laws, and souls—that Moira, as a full entity, is awakened and formed.
This is an indisputable process. With just a bit of thought, the nature of this special union becomes clear. It's a unique relationship between a fusion deity and multiple gods—they are both one entity and separate beings.
It's hard to put this into words, not easily described at all. But it's the truth, the core of the matter, the essence of their union.
At this moment, Keres was sensing the unique power of a God-King. After a while, she calmly said, "Feeling the power of a God-King is truly special. Even though I know this power doesn't entirely belong to me, still..."
Keres shook her head.
That feeling is something that cannot be described in mere words. It is the power of a God-King, and only by experiencing it yourself can you truly understand just how extraordinary it is.
Clotho also sighed softly, saying, "Yes, the power of a God-King... No matter when you sense it, you can always feel that deep, inherent uniqueness, something that comes from the core of the soul."
Clotho was filled with emotion. Was this really the power of a God-King?
Yes!
This was the power that Moira, now split into the Four Fate Goddesses, had inherited from her God-King state. Only by truly sensing it can one understand just how unique this divine power is.
It's not something that can be explained in a few simple words.
Lachesis added with a sigh, "A God-King... Only when you truly experience this power can you fully grasp the immense gap that exists. Calling it a chasm as vast as heaven and earth is no exaggeration."
Atropos nodded in agreement, "Indeed, the gap is enormous. It's truly a difference as vast as the sky and the earth, a gulf that creates immense changes and transformations."
The Four Fate Goddesses were all filled with awe. Only by truly understanding it can one realize just how significant the difference is.
The figures of the Four Fate Goddesses appeared within the depths of the Fate Hell, their divine power surging and merging. They would occasionally manifest separately, only to recombine into the single entity of Moira, the united Fate Goddess.
Their merging.
Their fusion.
If you carefully perceive it, you'll discover the differences, but it requires deep reflection to truly see those distinctions. Otherwise, understanding the gap and the nuances isn't easy at all. This is the power unique to a God-King. Again, it's not something easily grasped when you first look at it.
...
Hell of Ghosts and Gods!
Once a simple planet, it had now perfectly transformed into a Hell. At this moment, Ceres was here, this perfect goddess exuding an overwhelming aura of violence.
As the goddess of ghosts and gods, Ceres embodied boundless brutality.
However.
Over time, this violent aura was rapidly diminishing at a visible pace, being absorbed into Ceres' body and gradually dissipating entirely. This also indicated that something significant was happening.
This was the divine power that Ceres controlled—an immense power that, just by observing it, one could feel how astonishing and terrifying it truly was.
...
Ceres slowly opened her eyes, and in an instant, a surge of dark red divine power erupted, forming a towering pillar of energy. But it only lasted for a moment before vanishing completely.
"The power of a God-King..."
Ceres muttered softly, "Only by truly stepping into the realm of a God-King can you understand what it really means to be one. No matter how others try to describe it, in the end, words are meaningless."
"Sigh!"
Ceres sighed gently and shook her head, her eyes showing a mix of emotions. She wasn't joking—she spoke the truth. Only by actually entering this realm can you truly comprehend the nature of this divine power and how awe-inspiring it is.
The power of a God-King is both shocking and overwhelming.
This is what it means to be a true God-King, and Ceres had undergone her transformation, giving rise to the Hell of Ghosts and Gods. At this moment, the Hell of Ghosts and Gods was linked to the Underworld, its energy flowing back to the World Tree.
This process of regeneration and transformation, just by sensing it, reveals how extraordinary this divine power truly is.
"It's really a unique kind of power..." Ceres sighed softly before continuing her practice. She didn't relax or stop for even a moment.
Ceres knew well how special her position as a God-King was. She was merely standing in the right place at the right time. In other words, any god in the right circumstances, standing in her position, could have achieved the same.
So...
She was merely a God-King created by the divine power of her lord. Not working hard? That would be absolutely unacceptable! If she didn't put in the effort, many things would become incredibly important.
