Anastasia and Xavier arrived at her family house. This was the first time she had seen them all in one house, and although she couldn't remember much about them, she wished their faces would trigger her lost memories in a good way.
"My dear," said Nora, Anastasia's mother whose eyes were filled with tears. After so many months, she couldn't believe she was seeing her daughter for so long. Having her back in her arms felt so unreal. She hugged her so tightly Anastasia had to tap her on the back a few times because she was starting to suffocate.
Then a young man came up to her, his arms around her as he enveloped her into a tight hug.
It was Kael.
Before Anastasia could register what was happening, he was already starting to shed tears.
"I thought you said you were a big boy. Yet, here you are, crying like a child," Tracie teased, a grin tugging at the end of her lips.
