Matilda had long gotten used to Malin's transformations. The next morning, when she saw Malin's hair had grown significantly, the big-tailed fox chuckled while combing his hair. With a dagger, she did some simple trimming and tied it into a neat little ponytail.
Finding clothes that fit herself, Malin took his Fox Girl downstairs and found Mr. Meng.
After a good night's rest, Mr. Meng looked much better. When Malin entered, he saw the man was already sitting on the balcony, watching the morning sunrise.
"You look much better, Mr. Meng." Malin walked into the room, and as he passed by Meng Quyi, the young woman gave his cheek a light pinch.
