Chapter 364 - MD-Chapter 361 No One?

Arthur was momentarily speechless. He had been so focused on taking Spider-Man out for some fun and introducing him to Star-Lord.

He had a feeling that if these two met, something interesting would definitely happen.

But he completely forgot that he would have to compete with Gwen for Spider-Man's time!

What a mess…

Spider-Man crouched on the ground, his head drooping, looking equally dejected.

Arthur's eyes darted around, and he smiled as he asked, "Do you really want to go?"

"Of course, I do!"

Spider-Man replied, "Our organization has been around for a while now, and your little secrets aren't exactly hidden anymore. I'm really curious about these so-called alien races!"

"Alright, that settles it."

Arthur walked up to Spider-Man.

Spider-Man stood up, "You have a plan?"

"Of course!"

Arthur grinned, and Spider-Man suddenly had a very bad feeling. He instinctively tried to dodge, but before he could even see what was happening, a heavy blow landed on his neck, and he instantly lost consciousness.

After stuffing Spider-Man into the Disassemble space, Arthur picked up his phone and called Gwen.

"Hello."

Gwen's tone was formal and serious, maintaining basic courtesy for an unknown caller.

Arthur chuckled, "I'm borrowing your boyfriend for a few days. Don't worry, we'll be back in a couple of days."

"Huh?"

Gwen, on the other end of the lin,e was dazed. "Borrowing him for a few days? How exactly are you planning to use him?"

"...I thought you'd be more curious about who I am," Arthur said, both amused and exasperated. "When he gets back, he'll explain everything to you. I've already knocked him out, so don't worry, there's no danger. Just be patient and wait!"

"Who are you?"

This time, Gwen was clearly focused on the key point.

Arthur thought for a moment and said, "Guess?"

"..."

Gwen was furious, but before she could say anything, the call was disconnected.

After hanging up, Gwen immediately called Spider-Man, but no one answered.

Gwen's brows furrowed tightly. "Why do I feel like that person's voice and tone… sound so familiar? Wait… could it be?!"

...

"Achoo!"

As soon as Arthur set foot in the realm of Asgard, he let out a loud sneeze. He rubbed his nose in confusion, glanced at Heimdall, who was staring at him, and grinned. "Probably just a cold."

Heimdall didn't comment. "Where to?"

Arthur didn't know where Star-Lord was at the moment, but wherever it was, it probably wasn't too far from Xandar. So he said, "Send me to the star system around Xandar. Any habitable planet will do."

"Alright."

Heimdall agreed readily and instantly activated the Bifrost.

The next second, Arthur disappeared again! When he reappeared, he was in the wilderness of an unknown planet.

As soon as he appeared, he heard a rumbling sound from the ground. He turned his head and saw a Giant Beast, larger than an elephant, charging toward him!

"Holy crap!"

Arthur's mouth twitched. He pressed his hand forward, and in the next moment, a tremendous force, whether it came from the sky or the ground, pinned the massive creature to the ground. It struggled fiercely but couldn't get up.

Arthur shook his head and casually released Spider-Man from the Disassemble space.

Spider-Man was still unconscious, but his body's resistance and recovery were strong. Within seconds of being released, he began to wake up, "Where is this?"

He looked around in confusion, then glanced at the Giant Beast pinned to the ground by the gravity. "So, we're not on Earth anymore?"

"I don't know where this is either." Arthur set the grass on fire with a wave of his hand, and the flames began to spread wildly.

"You don't know? Then why are we here?" Spider-Man asked, puzzled.

"Because someone's settling a personal grudge!"

Arthur glared at the sky, certain that Heimdall had played a trick on him. Otherwise, why would a Giant Beast charge at him the moment he landed?

"What do we do now? Wait, we just left? Gwen's going to go crazy if she can't find me!" Spider-Man was starting to panic!

Arthur smiled, "Don't worry, I've redirected that anger to someone else."

"How did you redirect it?" Spider-Man was taken aback.

Arthur explained what had happened during the phone call.

After hearing this, Spider-Man was left speechless. "But if that's the case, Gwen is definitely going to hate you!"

"...I'm not dating her, so whether she hates me or not doesn't really matter," Arthur replied, puzzled. "Besides, she doesn't even know who I am."

"You think your voice and tone have no distinguishable features?" Spider-Man said, "Gwen knows you and knows the Instructor. Do you really think she won't connect the dots about your relationship?"

"...You didn't tell her, did you?" Arthur opened his mouth, realizing he hadn't considered that possibility.

"No!" Spider-Man shook his head immediately.

"That's good."

"But she figured it out herself," Spider-Man added.

Arthur felt like he was about to spit blood. "Are you kidding me?"

"I'm 100% serious."

Spider-Man said, "Don't underestimate Gwen. She even did a voice comparison. You know, while you're usually careful, there are recordings of the Instructor during battles. Gwen compared them to your voice, and everything became clear."

"She's quite the schemer."

Arthur sighed deeply, casually extinguishing the fire on the ground with a wave of his hand. "But now that we're here, whatever problems arise will have to wait until we get back."

As he spoke, he walked over to the area burned by the flames and drew a teleportation circle in the ash. "Come over here."

Spider-Man was familiar with teleportation devices and cheerfully stepped forward. "I'm a little excited!"

"…Of course you're excited. I pulled you out, and now I'm the one stuck here."

Arthur's face darkened. If Gwen didn't recognize him and didn't know who he was, everything would be fine… but now that she knew, when he returned, this woman would come looking for him, accusing him of kidnapping her boyfriend. There was no way to justify that!

With a sigh, he activated the teleportation circle. "I'm taking you to meet some friends."

"What friends?"

Before Spider-Man could finish his question, the two of them had already appeared inside the spaceship's cabin.

Spider-Man looked around the dark space in confusion and asked, "Where is this?"

"I'd like to know that too," Arthur frowned. There was no light in the spaceship? Where had Star-Lord and the others gone?
