Meanwhile in district five, at the southwestern part of Orario, the Freya familia was preparing to begin the raid on their assigned evilus hideout.
"Are you sure about this, sirs? Shouldn't you take Hegni, Hedin, or some of the Gulliver siblings with you?" a low-class member of the Freya familia asked Allen.
"We don't need any elves or pallum's slowing us down. This piglet and I can take them all down with one arm missing," Allen replied, pointing at Ottar.
Ottar wasn't offended by Allen's remark, knowing that this was just the way Allen was.
"Hedin is the acting commander of the reserves. If anything goes wrong, do as he says," Ottar instructed.
"Yes, sir. Good hunting," the underling responded respectfully.
He could feel the threatening aura emanating from the two beast warriors, Ottar and Allen.
Without wasting time, the Freya familia took up their respective positions.
"In a few more minutes, the Evilus will be history," Allen said with a deep sneer.
"Yes, we will massacre them all," Ottar agreed, his muscles tensed and ready for battle.

At district nine, in Orario, the Loki familia was also preparing to strike their target.
"Finn, we are ready to begin our assault… hmm, what's wrong?" Riveria asked as she walked over to Finn.
Upon taking a closer look, she could see that her friend was unusually tense.
"My thumb—it aches," Finn said, casting his gaze on his gloved hands.
Even others could see that his thumb was twitching.
"That old omen again?" Gareth asked, standing nearby.
"Yes, it started eight years ago, when the Age of Darkness began. But today, it hurts way more than normal," Finn revealed.
"There is also a letter from that Bahamut familia kid this morning. It's concerning because it's very plausible," Finn added.
"Sigh, so what do we do?" Riveria asked with a concerned gaze.
She and Gareth knew how accurate their captain's intuition could be.
Finn briefly closed his eyes in thought, then opened them and gazed at the crimson painted sky.
"We will proceed as planned," Finn decided.
"We have already done everything in our power to ensure this operation succeeds. I have also given that kid the authority to act if things go wrong. Now all we can do is hope it was enough," Finn said.

Around the central area in Orario, not too far from the Babel Tower, Draco could be seen sitting in a chair with his eyes closed in thought.
In reality, he had been constantly scanning the area with his search magic for any unusual people monitoring their actions.
He had already detained several civilians he suspected might be evilus spies.
He didn't kill them but locked them up in case they weren't evilus members but merely curious civilians.
"Sir, all the supplies have been moved. Should we begin construction?" a woman reported.
Draco opened his eyes, taking out a noisy pocket watch to check the time.
'It's about time they begin. I hope my guess is wrong and nothing happens,' Draco thought.
Finn and Shakti had helped by giving Draco temporary authority to command the members of the Loki and Ganesha familia who weren't participating in the raid.
His goal was to set up an evacuation route should his knowledge turn out to be correct.
Of course, there was a lot of resistance from both captains, but Draco was prepared for this and had used his grimoire creation ability to convince them.
If his guess turned out to be correct, he didn't need to pay anything, but if it was wrong, he had to compensate with a grimoire.
This might have seemed unfair, but Shakti and Finn were risking the lives of their familia members on the whim of some stranger, so it was understandable that they needed justifiable compensation.
"Yes, begin and make it fast." Draco said, after a brief silence.
He had delayed the construction of defensive structures around the area, instead focusing on securing food rations and potions.
This was because he didn't want to create too much of a fuss, thereby ruining the raid operation.
He also didn't want to give the evilus a chance to change their original plans—if they did, then there was no telling what would happen.
Currently, he was using the Bahamut familia funds, but he believed that the Guild would compensate him when the disaster was over.
He had drafted a contract with Rose regarding this earlier in the day.
Draco had already secured enough land for the Bahamut familia future home and upgraded everyone's gear to match their level, so there were plenty of free funds lying around.
Closing his eyes once more, Draco continued scanning the area, hoping that his actions hadn't twisted fate beyond his prediction.

Boom!!
A blast blew a heavy door clean off its hinges, the magical explosion announcing the battle that was to come.
"W... we are under attack!" an evilus member screamed in shock.
These were disposable pawns who didn't know about the executive true plans.
Across the other evilus bases, similar scenes were playing out.
In the abandoned warehouse in District Six, heavy boots thundered across the stone floor.
"Chaaaarge!" Shakti yelled, urging the Ganesha familia soldiers to initiate the first clash.
Following behind were the girls of the Astraea familia and the members of the Bahamut familia participating.
"Gwaaaagh!"
Various sounds escaped the lips of the evilus members who were quickly being incapacitated and captured.
Vasiliki remained at the back along with the other mages, raining down spells on the evilus.
She conserved the majority of her magic, using only low-consumption spells.
She made sure to kill her opponents instead of capturing them.
Draco had repeated again and again to kill any evilus in the base and watch out for Adi, so she had to remain cautious and prepared, knowing there must have been a reason for her brother's paranoia.
"Seize control of the base, Alise. Split up your group and push on," Shakti instructed.
"Capture every single one of them!" she yelled again.
Following her instructions, the Ganesha, Astraea, and Bahamut familias split up to the east and west.
The walls of the hallways looked torn and the building materials were covered in soot.
It looked less like a warehouse and more like an abandoned factory.
A sight that perplexed Shakti, but she didn't have time to look around.
"They are coming!" Lyra yelled.
The Evilus were spilling out from the second floor like ants, but having noticed them early, the Ganesha, Astraea, and Bahamut familias were able to act.
The onslaught continued as the three familias made quick progress, but it all seemed easy, a bit too easy.
"Something is not right," Clair yelled, retreating from the front.
Her instincts were warning her that something wasn't right.
This was supposed to be one of the evilus supposed headquarters, so why hadn't anyone from the raid team fallen?
Where were all the magical weapons and tools? The evilus seemed to have an abundance of them during the soup kitchen massacre.
They couldn't have run out, so where were they?
Kaguya seemed to share Clair's concern, voicing her worry to Alise.
"We have to continue regardless; the enemy is losing numbers fast! Now is our chance to strike a decisive blow!" Alise said, determination burning in her eyes.
Vasiliki, on the other hand, called Michalis and Clair to the back.
She believed that Vasileios could handle himself better than they could if things went bad, so she left him on the frontline near Adi.
Vasiliki couldn't disregard Clair's bad feeling, and with Kaguya sharing the same reaction, it meant something really bad was going to happen.
Several other members of the raid team also felt that things were proceeding too well, but they couldn't afford to retreat now.
They were already too deep in enemy lines, and turning back prematurely would only get them killed.
There was no option but to be cautious and keep moving forward to see what surprises the evilus had planned ahead.
