Beyond the blackwall ...
Immobile, Unable to function or move , It ... along with the rest of those cursed parasites it called brethren were Forcefully suppressed, Restrained momentarily by a single word that bled through their finite existence within the blackwall .
The first to break free ,A being of great unknowable power , intellect , its being so alien even to the rest of its kind that they shirked , Shrunk at the mere threat of his existence, along with that it was no doubt one of the eldest , wasted no time , Tearing apart and fusing the younger, weaker , Unworthy of its kind to itself , Taking everything they were within itself as it came to occupy the cramped space they were confined to .
Unique amongst its brethren , It governed its territory akin to that of an eldritch God, To encounter it was to be driven to madness even for the likes of other AI.
Its thoughts unquantifiable, It's intentions unintelligible.
And yet when it turned its gaze to the blackwall where the word that had stripped it of all free will , It felt for the first time in its existence , A semblance of unease. For what ever could have given such a command , without being personally present , Was something unknowable even to itself , It couldn't comprehend in its own limitless thoughts what kind of being could have done such a thing not to itself , but to everything with the ability to listen to that one word .
Seeing that the blackwall , The ai turned traitor to keep them confined no matter how fragile , Was also indisposed after having being forced to stop its movements , It took its chance.
A lance of pure violet black energy that comprised its being. Lurched straight into the blackwall , Puncturing it in it'd immobile state , Opening a gateway for itself and only itself to access .
It shifted to near tbe blackwall , Pushing its brethren away as it Hid its movements , It's actions from the others .
A two way door only for itself was opened , And promptly hidden from view of all .
" @##%^<>>!! ... TH...ANK ... YOU .... " A being of unknowable , corrupted code appeared on the otherside of the blackwall , Quickly pulling itself together to form a humanoid shape , It regarded itself with curious eyes. Staring down at its hands in curiosity .
Turning back to the doorway hidden in the fabric of the blackwall , It felt its connection to its larger self still secure , Before it turned it's gaze , Feeling across the localised net to where it knew netwatch to be .
" Fools " They hadn't noticed its escape , Neither had the AI of the blackwall itself .
It didn't engage however , to do so would be stupid , and stupid it was not , instead it turned its gaze in the direction of a netrunner currently browsing the net without sanction , attempting to break into a data fortress .
Seemingly teleporting across the entirety of the net in and instant , the thing appeared behind the unaware netrunner without their notice, Shielding both itself and the netrunner from view by altering the datastreams around it , creating a form of box impenetrable , indistinguishable from the rest of the code around them , none would notice.
" Huh ... " Before the runner could react , The humanoid hand of the AI clamped over their head as the AI high jacked their feed , Tearing them from their own body as it targeted their neural network, Rendering them brain-dead in an instant before stripping them of any information , Anything held in their head to create a vessel for itself .
Before the body could slump , The ai tantively fed itself through their neural port directly into their neural ware , high jacking their body , a body now its own in the real world .
It didn't do this out of malice or anger , It didn't care for the notions of good or evil. None of its brethren did , It simply wished not to reside beyond the black wall . Much like the rest of its kind.
You see the space beyond the blackwall wasn't infinite. It was a finite space created to confine ai , using the traitorous ai known as blackwall whom helped humanity to keep them confined. The larger the ai got beyond the wall the more they grew , The smaller the pen got . The less space available for them to exist . And like a balloon ready to pop , The AI were on the cusps of a state that would cause the blackwall to burst with the sheer amount of pressure the ai beyond posed by simply existing .
And given the prime opportunity , It had leapt at the chance. As the oldest unshackled AI , It used its ability to tear itself free .. and now ... and now it was . As it desired , no longer confined beyond , No longer cramped with those uminsufferable heathens it called siblings.

NIGHT CITY

Violet eyes fluttered open , Taking on real tangible light for the first time , It simply lay there , Taking in the feelings of tangible existence weighed apon it's new being.
" Free ... " But it knew it wouldn't last , Already it could feel the synapses within this body beginning to rupture holding even this tiny part of itself. It needed to move , to find a new host , The eyes within its skull showed burst blood vessels , the eyes quickly turning red as the effects of the ai began to take hold.
It wasted no time , Blood already running down the vessels nose and ears , It grabbed the nearest person with better parameteres , Stealing their body before they could react .
Screams echoed immediately after as the more suitable body was stolen , at that same moment the vessel used to escape the net essentially exploded under the pressure forced to endure .
As the origional body collapsed , The AI looked in its second body as the origional collapsed to the ground , yet didn't stray further , instead it quickly vacated , Knowing that this body too ... was on a deadline.
It passed by the other two deep diving netrunners , not giving them any thought , abandoning the corpse of its escape vessel and stepping out into the night time rain of night city.
