Today is the seventh day of the challenge, and I am feeling a bit tired today as I am completing my assignments as well.
Also, don't mind if I do polls after every chapter; I just have no friends, so I might as well take dopamine from talking to you lot.

4 weeks later — 7 weeks after arriving — Dayton, January of the Year 2169
{Alexia age: 35}
It has been almost two months since we arrived in this universe. Will — Rachel's son— finally came around and accepted our relationship. Not that it would matter much if he did not accept it. Now, the factory and office have been set up and are running in Dayton. It is time to move to Zone 4 — New Greenwich. Factories in other zones will be set up when the HQ is up and running there.
When I was thinking about what had happened in the past four weeks, that's when Cortana said in her usual emotionless tone, "Boss, John messaged and said he has picked Rachel up, and the ETA is 15 minutes." {Author-chan: What voice should we give Cortana?}
"Hmm… Okay. Where are the others? Are they ready to leave?"
"Miss Hannah and Jenny are at the office doing final checkups, while Miss Diana and Lindy are checking out of The Century — they are ready to leave."
I say, "Okay."
Then turn around from the computer table and say, "Also, Don't call me Boss."
She asks, "Then what should I call you?"
Smiling, I say, "Well, you have two options. Either call me Alexia or Alexi. Though only people close to me call me Alexi."
When I moved towards the door to leave, I heard her say, "Okay, Alexi."
I have been working on Cortana for the past 3 weeks. When I worked on her in the Limitless universe, she was still but a seed.
Back then, I had easily reached the stage of Limited Memory and touched the stage of Theory of Mind, where Cortana is able to improve and improve over time based on experience.
What I am trying to accomplish now is to fully reach the stage of Theory of Mind. To do that, I started by dabbling into Cognitive Science. First Language Acquisition, to be particular.
Then, I thought, why not use her ML, which is vastly advanced, In helping me build models to represent the mental state of others, which includes their desires and beliefs or intentions and all? Essentially building a ToMnet, but while the system worked in simple grid world environments, it did not show much progress in open ones due to not having the advanced equipment that was needed. So, I moved to searching the archives from this universe, and it made me develop a theory.
Though that's for later, as first I need to move to Zone 4 before I can put the theory to the test.
As I start the car, I call Hannah.
Hannah picked up her phone and said in a tired voice, "Hey, Darling."
"Hey, love. Everything good?"
"Yeah, just tired. Everything is done here."
"Good, then I will pick you up from the office."
Instantly I hear a shout, "JENNYYY!!! Pour me one as well; she's picking us up."
I ask her, holding my laugh, "Oh! So, I am a designated driver now. I feel sad."
She says, shushing me, "Oh, shush. It's not our fault you sent John to pick up your new girlfriend."
While I am there thinking, "Did she just shush me…?"
I hear Jenny again through the speaker, "And tell her. I am still mad she didn't take us to another world on our first date."
I chuckle at the situation and say, "Ha.. ha.. Tell her I heard her."
Hannah says to Jenny, "She heard you."
Jenny says, "Goooooodddd."
Hannah says to me, "Okay, see you when you get here, babe."
Saying that I cut the phone, "Okay, see you."

When I got there Jenny was passed out, mumbling about the injustice, which was quite good.
On our way back to the Century, a mess happened that caused us to arrive a bit late; Jenny threw up while Hannah was in the middle of giving me a Hawk Tuah.
We reached the century 20 minutes late.
Lindy asks in bewilderment, "What happened to her?"
Tired Hannah says, "She threw up while I was giving our darling here a head."
Jenny instantly stands up, "I am GoOD… GOoD…" then falls unconscious again.
Hannah says, "And there she goes."
Diana chimes in and says, "Oh, Be nice."
Hannah starts defending herself, pointing at me with her eyes sayin, "I am being nice. She drank this much because…"
I say, understanding what mess I caused, "Okay, I understand. Next time one of us goes, we all go. I promise."
Hannah says a little less angry while pointing to the unconscious Hannah, "Don't tell me, tell her that… Well, when she wakes up…."
I look towards John and say to him, "Okay. John. Let's go…"
While Rachel laughed for the first time since learning about my partners. With thoughts that, "Maybe it is not a bad idea to agree to come. After all, could she handle her alone?"
Walking with pain in her still trembling legs, knowing she had to stop Alexia yesterday, otherwise she would not be able to walk today.
As we get into the two cars. We start driving to the border.
One by one, passing zones by zones… Rachel's eyes moistened at her son's decision to stay in Zone 12, even after knowing why? She still felt sad, knowing her son could live in such good places.

{Author-chan: That is all for this chapter, my dear readers. I could not write much today as I have 4 assignments due. I got an extension for the other four from my professors.

Also, I did not have the plan to develop Cortana in this episode. But it happened. It is cause I had forgotten about Cortana completely until I went back to some chapters to check something.
