"Just got you exactly where I wanted, brother." Brandon smirked as he watched Gabriel being surrounded.
"Bring my sword," he instructed, his eyes locked on Gabriel. Just a stab in the heart and he was done with it, or at least what he thought.
"I can't put the life of my king in danger," Tieron replied, earning a sharp gaze from Brandon.
"I didn't make you a general to question my decisions," Brandon said before turning towards the knights behind him. "My bloody sword!" He hissed in exasperation.
A knight placed a golden one in his hands. When drawn, its surface glimmered in the sun, a reflection of Brandon's cruel eyes cast on its shiny surface.
"Attack on my signal," he instructed the remaining knights.
Tieron let out a sigh of relief internally. Initially, he had thought Brandon was going to do something stupid.
