Xia Wanwan was still worried when suddenly, the man on top of her got up. Confused about what was happening, she saw him get out of bed and walk away.
"Xi... Xi Muchen... where are you going?"
Did this man... get angry?
"Study."
Xi Muchen's tone was actually quite normal, but the voice of a man suppressing desire always sounded somewhat strange. Coupled with Xia Wanwan's guilt, she became even more worried that he was angry.
As Xia Wanwan hoped, Xi Muchen didn't do anything more to her, yet she was tossing and turning in bed, unable to fall asleep.
Xi Muchen did leave out of a bit of anger, but more so to cool down; only that cooling off became even more terrifying. Xia Wanwan's resistance was hard for him to accept. Although she said it was because she was tired, Xi Muchen always felt that something was off with Xia Wanwan, from head to toe.
After thinking it over, Xi Muchen still took out his phone and dialed a number.
