"Is that so?" Monica finally asked, her tone sounding a bit softer, as if she were trying to read deeper into the student in front of her. "Then, if that's the case, what will you teach my students?"
Haruto paused for a moment, his expression remaining cold and unyielding. However, when he began to speak, there was an intensity in his voice that made Monica hold her breath.
"Um... First, I will train their bodies," Haruto said in a low tone. "They must be ready to fight, without fear of pain. They need to know what it feels like to have broken bones, wounds that pierce to the bone, and the torturous pain, so they can put up a fight." Haruto paused, looking at Monica as if challenging her reaction.
Monica was silent, her gaze fixed on Haruto, but she did not utter a word.
Haruto continued, his voice becoming calmer yet full of determination. "I will shape their mindset. In a real fight, they must be prepared to do whatever it takes to survive. If not, they will just become the next victims. I want to ensure they are strong enough to face anything, so they don't die in a foolish way."
Monica bit her lip, looking struck by the cold honesty in Haruto's words. She could feel the deep conviction behind every word spoken. Haruto was clearly speaking from experience, not just theory.
"Is that all?" Monica asked, her tone confused and curious.
"No," Haruto replied, shaking his head slowly. "I will also train them to fully understand the abilities they possess. I want them to master every movement, every attack, without hesitation or awkwardness. And I will ensure they master the Aura Arts, so they have more options in battle."
Monica fell silent, looking at Haruto as if seeing him for the first time. After a few seconds of silence, she finally smiled, a thin smile that carried a newfound trust. "That... is very good. I understand now."
Monica took a deep breath and continued, "At first, I wondered why my students wanted to seek training from a second-year student when they could just come to me." Monica chuckled softly, sounding a bit regretful. "However, with everything you've said, I feel confident. I will entrust them to you, Haruto. Please take good care of them."
"Of course," Haruto replied casually, nodding his head.
"Great, then I'll take my leave. See you later, Haruto," Monica said with a thin smile before turning to leave.
Haruto nodded once more, watching the woman walk away. Once Monica disappeared from view, Haruto sighed and then looked at his food.
"Damn it! Because that woman started talking, my food got cold!" Haruto muttered irritably in a low voice, poking at the food on his plate with a fork.

...
...
The next morning, Haruto woke up with a wrinkled face and slightly puffy eyes. He glanced at the clock on the wall, which read 5:45 AM. With a lazy step, Haruto walked to the bathroom, cleaning himself up in a bit of a rush. After finishing, he headed straight to the cafeteria, hoping breakfast would lift his spirits.
In the cafeteria, Haruto began to enjoy his breakfast—grilled rice and grilled chicken with spicy green chili sauce. He chewed slowly while looking around, noticing a few people also engrossed in their meals in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. After finishing his meal, Haruto stood up, took a deep breath, and walked toward the training room. Today was the first day Haruto would train the students entrusted to him.
However, as soon as Haruto arrived at the training room, he was taken aback by the sharp stares and annoyed faces of the seven students who were already waiting.
"What's going on?" Haruto asked in a naive tone, looking at them with a confused expression as if he felt no guilt.
