Penelope lazily lied down under the apple tree, enjoying the feeling of the warm grass tickling her cheeks. Her parents didn't like it when she came out this far, nor did Cethin for that matter, who always did a good job convincing her to play with him somewhere else.
Her brother was a surprisingly good negotiator despite his age, so much so, that Penny found herself a little scared around him sometimes. Of course this small inkling of doubt was drowned out by the overflowing feelings of love she held for him.
With a small bump, Penny was shaken out of her thoughts by a shiny red apple landing on her head. Usually it would of angered her, but instead the feeling she found was one of nostalgia. Her lips pursed as she tried to find some kind of reasoning.
Eventually, despite her half-asleep mind, Penelope recalled it. It had been just like when she first arrived here, when she awoke from under the apple tree to first meet her family!
