At this late hour of the night, the world was engulfed in silence and stillness, as if time itself had come to a halt. The vast majority of people were sound asleep, their minds and bodies surrendered to the peaceful embrace of slumber. However, amidst this serene atmosphere, there was one person who was still wide awake, lost in deep contemplation and focused on their goal. Yuki, in a state of undisturbed concentration, was still immersed in the practice of cultivating, seeking to enhance his abilities and achieve greater heights.
"I still can't find a way to a breakthrough..."

It has been a month of learning and training with magic and cultivation.
If you didn't notice, the 'Magic Capacity' on Yuki's status has increased due to the natural restoration of magic inside of his body. This means that every time he used up magic in his reserves, the more his body could accompany his capacity to withhold magic when it regenerates at the center of his core. A center core is what all magicians have when they are first born, and is located at the center of your being. That core would indeed be at the middle of Yuki's chest. He also found it hard to believe that why science or any studies relating to this had not been found on Earth, as it was stated here in one of the books called 'Fundamentals of Magic'.
Every day, Yuki spent his time studying the books as he intended to become a grand mage, able to hold his own against other mages. At least, that's what he was thinking. After all, when worse comes to worse, only he would be able to protect himself from any danger that's around him.
In The Library
Yuki was handling another transaction with a student for a book called 'Holy: Light Magic', and still, was fascinated to know more about the workings of each and every book here. He was fantasizing about all the books he could read to get stronger and attain more magical knowledge.
The principal came to the library every once in a while to check up on Yuki and see how he was doing.
Periodically, this became a thing where the principal would exchange a few words with him, and as such, their interactions were quite limited due to both of their respective time schedules.
"Hey, can I check this book out?"
"Sure thing I'll scan it right for you!"
"Is there a new version of this book, the 'Magic Tricks that Work on Mages'? It looks a bit dusty."
"Of course! I will search for another copy of that one, give me one moment."
Conversations like these went by in a flash.
It was like magic, but in a few words.
Days like these were a blessing to him.
He saved up quite a bit to eat as well, however cultivators at a higher realm don't necessarily have to eat due to their immense cultivation and strengthened body.
A Year Had Passed.
And finally...
He had completed his mission.

He had made his efforts pay off.
[System notice: New panel 'Simulation' unlocked]
As you can see, his magic capacity has grown exponentially and his current realm was now at the 4th level of the Qi Refinement Realm.
All the instructors know Yuki now, and because of his talent for magic was so high he progressed with a speed that was equivalent to that of a genius mage. Ordinary mages could not have a high enough magic capacity to sustain their spells, but Yuki had practiced every day, working his butt off just to reach the title of a advanced mage in just one year.
As the name implied a 'simulation' was exactly a copy of what the real thing was- a fight.
"Let's test this out!"
"Simulation!"
There was a bunch of floating icons around him, each one indicating a picture that he personally knew. His dad, mom, and brother were also there. Even the pictures of his high school classmates were present at this time.
"I guess I'll pick a random person in the 'Supernatural Studies Club'."
The simulation worked with no errors, depicting the person wearing a blue shirt and black pants, and the level of detail was particularly impressive. It was evident that a lot of effort had gone into creating this simulation, and the results were truly astonishing.
His classmate began to enter his fighting stance.
"A fight? With me at 'my' level of cultivation? In addition to my magic talents and knowledge surrounding the countless spells in my arsenal... This seems a bit crazy going against a regular person who probably has no real fighting experience.
Begin!
He tried to punch Yuki, but to no avail he missed. He was dodging without effort and was spectating his opponent. It was like he knew what his every move would be in the next instant of that moment.
Two minutes had passed since they first started fighting. In His perspective- this was the most unfair fight of all time. He finally got bored after another minute went by.
Yuki suddenly took a quick two steps forward, slightly adjusting his body posture, he shifted toward the left and went for a right hook, dealing the first blow to his classmate.
Surprisingly this was the end of the fight, as his classmate was already kneeling down on the floor.
With no use of magic or anything else besides his cultivation level, he won with a clean fist to boast.
"Is this really all you have as my classmate?"
