Emrys was stunned.
To be honest, he was only trying out his newly learned ability on the old man. He did not expect the old man to die just like that.
"I should have been careful. I already knew his life force was sucked dry by the dark aura. I should not have forced his soul out of his body, causing him to die."
Emrys sighed and then walked to the old man's dead body. Then he frowned a little before gouging his eyes out.
These were the Eyes of Stars, a very unique pair of eyes. Just by holding them in hand, Emrys could feel the boundless power they held. It is a pity the old man was never strong enough to truly accept the power brought about by this pair of eyes.
Emrys did not plan to replace his eyes with the Eyes of Stars. He only observed it for a little while before throwing it inside his Dimensional Space.
