Gu Yi'an waved her hand, stopping Jiang Mei from continuing.
Jiang Mei nodded and asked, "How's Jing Si doing these days?"
"She's doing well," Gu Yi'an smiled.
"As a big star, I'd rather not invite her. She probably can't find the time, and if the paparazzi get wind of it, our reunion party will be a disaster," Jiang Mei chuckled.
Gu Yi'an nodded in agreement, "True."
After a few casual exchanges, Gu Yi'an received a call from Tan Jincheng.
"Where are you?"
"Hmm, out with a friend. Why?" Gu Yi'an asked.
"Accompany me to a gala tonight," Tan Jincheng's voice was low.
"Me?" Gu Yi'an froze for a moment.
On the other end, Tan Jincheng's low laughter came through, "Mrs. Tan, would you accompany me to a gala tonight?"
Gu Yi'an's cheeks felt slightly hot, and her eyes flickered. With Jiang Mei winking at her from across the table, she responded vaguely, "Sure, I'll come to the office later?"
