When Sakura stepped back into the mansion's living room, she knew Kiyomi was awake. Hell, she had known from the moment she had walked in on Otaru and his aide, wondering how to help Kiyomi out and discourage her from going after the queen.
Sakura had watched as they tripped over their words when they saw that the queen had been with them, and she had watched as they had hooked her up to an IV when her magic wasn't helping — the magic that was so nonexistent everyone was certain that the woman was human.
It was an interesting theory, one that Sakura was willing to explore. She wanted to see what this apparently humane Kiyomi would do, and when she had felt slow the woman's heartbeats, Sakura just smirked to herself and walked them out.
Now she was back, and Kiyomi Kimura was staring at her with a rage on her face that she hadn't quite seen for the longest time. This was the kind that Sakura had watched on her face back when Kiyomi was being hunted by her Lycans.
