Quan Tianyou, overcome with anger, shoved Su Liuying forcefully. She lost her balance and fell to the ground, instinctively bracing herself with her hands to reduce the impact. Though she avoided a hard fall, her hands throbbed painfully from the strain.
Liu Hengyuan, who had been waiting nearby, saw this and rushed forward in a few large strides, intending to help Su Liuying up.
"Hengyuan, don't help her!"
Quan Tianyou's loud command stopped Liu Hengyuan in his tracks. He pressed his lips together as he looked at Su Liuying for a few seconds, but ultimately straightened up without extending a hand to assist her.
