The statue of Monk Daoji in Daoji Hall closely resembles the legendary Ji Gong, dressed in tattered robes and holding a worn Banana Leaf Fan. Especially the phrase on either side which isn't a proper couplet further confirms this, being the well-known: "Meat and wine pass through the intestines, but Buddha remains in the heart."
Everyone was extremely devout, not only bowing and offering incense, but also donating incense money according to their capabilities.
However, upon arriving at the courtyard of Daxiong Baodian, they saw the members of the Dong Family.
Dong Wenxiu's brows immediately furrowed.

"Big brother, sister-in-law." Dong Wenxiu endured the discomfort and forced a smile.
Dong Ruoqiu, however, frowned and looked at Dong Wenxiu with a face full of caution, tightly gripping Yang Baiyue's hand.
