She felt a strange knot form in her chest. How in the world had he cleared every last tube and jar in such a short amount of time? How did he even carry them without shattering a single one? They were volatile— even the slightest movement could've cracked them apart like fragile glass. Just brushing one wrong could have triggered an explosion or spilled contamination.
Her lips parted slightly, stunned. She had expected a mess, broken glass, blood stains— something.
But there was nothing.
