With his mission complete and Kirigakure now free from Yagura's oppressive rule, Naruto was ready to leave.
The village had served its purpose, and he had no intention of lingering any longer. But things rarely went as planned—especially when it came to a woman like Mei Terumi.
Just as Naruto was about to vanish into the shadows, a message arrived, summoning him to the Mizukage's residence.
"Tch… persistent woman," Naruto muttered under his breath, but curiosity tugged at him.
With a faint smirk, he decided to see what Mei Terumi wanted.

Mizukage's Residence
The room was dimly lit, bathed in the soft glow of lanterns. The scent of cherry blossoms lingered faintly in the air, mixed with something more intoxicating—something wild and untamed.
Mei sat gracefully on a cushion, her long auburn hair cascading down her shoulders like a fiery waterfall. She wore a simple yet elegant kimono, its neckline slightly lower than necessary, exposing a delicate ravine between her two hills. Her jade-green eyes sparkled with mischief as she poured two cups of sake, her smile both inviting and dangerous.
Naruto entered silently, his dark cloak billowing slightly as he stepped into the room. His face was exposed now, the mask gone, revealing sharp features, piercing blue eyes, and a faint, amused tilt to his mouth.
Mei's gaze slid over him shamelessly.
"Leaving without even saying goodbye?" She teased, pouring two cups of sake without waiting for him to sit. "That's hardly polite, don't you think?"
Naruto raised an eyebrow but remained standing. "I'm not one for goodbyes. I prefer to leave before people get too attached."
Mei laughed softly, the sound smooth like velvet. "Oh? And do you get attached easily, Alex?"
She patted the cushion beside her, an unspoken invitation.
After a brief pause, he obliged, settling beside her with practiced ease. He took the cup she offered but didn't drink immediately. "What do you want, Mei Terumi?"
His tone was casual, but his eyes were sharp, always calculating.
She sipped her sake leisurely, letting the warmth spread through her before answering. "Curiosity, mostly."
Her fingers toyed with the rim of her cup. "You show up, defeat Yagura, help with the coup… and now you're gone without a trace? Doesn't that sound suspicious?"
Naruto chuckled softly. "Suspicion implies I have something to hide."
He finally took a sip, letting the sharp bite of the sake roll over his tongue. "I just don't like staying in one place for too long."
Mei leaned in slightly, her smile turning sly. "So mysterious… You know, I could offer you a position here in Kirigakure. We could use someone like you."
Naruto gave her a sidelong glance, his smirk widening. "Tempting. But I don't take orders well."
Mei's laughter was soft but wicked. "Oh, I wasn't offering to give you orders. I was offering… companionship."
Her voice dropped slightly, a sultry note woven into the words. She reached out, her fingers lightly brushing the back of his hand—a casual touch, yet loaded with intent.
Naruto didn't pull away. His eyes met hers, the ocean-blue depths darkening just a little. "Is this your strategy? Seduction through sake and flattery?"
Mei's grin grew. "Is it working?"
Instead of answering, Naruto took another slow sip of sake, letting the silence stretch between them. The tension grew, thick and electric.
Mei shifted closer, her knee brushing against his thigh as if by accident.
"You never did tell me who you really are," She murmured, her fingers now tracing lazy patterns along his forearm. "You fight like a shinobi, but you don't wear a village's headband. You use techniques only a handful of people in the world know. And you're annoyingly good at disappearing."
Naruto tilted his head slightly, amused by her persistence. "Does knowing my past change what I've done for your village?"
"No," Mei admitted, her gaze flicking to his lips for just a fraction of a second. "But it might change what I want to do with you now."
Naruto's body tensed slightly. At first, he was uncomfortable with her boldness—unfamiliar with someone being this forward. But then, a thought crossed his mind:
If the lamb wants to be hunted, why should the hunter hold back?
Naruto set his cup down, his smile fading into something darker, more dangerous.
Without warning, he reached out, his fingers wrapping around her wrist, pulling her closer. His grip wasn't harsh, but it was firm—possessive.
Mei's breath hitched, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she leaned in, her face inches from his.
"Are you always this rough, or is it just with me?" She whispered, her lips curling into a challenge.
Naruto's golden eyes locked onto hers, filled with a storm of emotions—amusement, desire, and something darker. "You think you can handle me, Mei Terumi?"
His voice was low, almost a growl.
She didn't flinch.
"I'm not asking to handle you," She whispered, her voice like silk. "I'm asking to be devoured."
That was it.
The final thread snapped.
Naruto pulled her into his lap with a swift motion, his mouth crashing onto hers in a fierce, dominating kiss. It wasn't gentle—it was raw, hungry, filled with the kind of intensity that left no room for doubts or second thoughts.
Mei melted against him, her fingers threading into his hair, her body arching to press closer. She tasted of sake and something wild, something untamed. Her legs wrapped around his waist instinctively, her kimono slipping slightly off one shoulder as she pulled him closer, desperate for more.
Naruto's hands roamed without hesitation, exploring the curves of her body with practiced ease, his touch igniting sparks wherever it landed.
The table beneath them creaked slightly as he leaned her back, his mouth trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down her neck.
Mei gasped softly, her nails digging into his back through the thin fabric of his cloak.
"You're dangerous," She whispered against his ear, her breath hot and ragged.
Naruto pulled back just enough to meet her gaze, his eyes dark with desire. "And you love it."
She didn't deny it.
Instead, she pulled him back down, their lips colliding once more in a kiss that tasted like fire and promises neither of them intended to keep.
And just like that, the hunter claimed his willing lamb.
