Aurelie felt Nicolas watch her as she walked past him and out the door. She made a show of seeing him, smiling and then pretending to be distracted by Imogen who was talking about what she wished she could eat but was going to hold off of until after the show.
"I will order one just for a little sniff while I eat my rabbit food," Miranda said proudly as they walked through the corridor.
"I will have one anyway," Tanya said with a smile, "Gluten free bun, no cheeses and a fish patty. Better than nothing."
"I will not risk it," Imogen said mournfully, "What if I have to show my belly, and it is too big for the dress."
"I will have a tiny portion," Aurelie said. "But I will not risk it tonight, as I will devour a horse. I am going to see if I can get rice and maybe some chicken or tofu."
"It is very hard being beautiful!" Miranda said with a playful toss of her head, her accent making her over pronounce the V and R.
