Core Creation Monsters—or Alpha monsters—possessed incredibly tough physiology, and each one had the ability to rapidly heal from injuries.
Unlike humans, who needed to circulate Qi to recover, these monsters simply let their bodies do the work. Self-healing was natural to them, embedded in their biology.
This made such monsters notoriously hard to deal with. Especially those whose strength exceeded Core Creation. Even Mathias would avoid provoking them directly—and would prefer to flee if given the option.
Now, as the Desert Dragon and the giant Ivory Scorpion rose to their feet, Mathias increased the strength of his Gravity Attribute. The pressure caused both monsters' feet to sink into the ground.
However, unlike before—when their bodies were completely immobilized—the two monsters had started to adapt to the gravitational force. They still struggled to move, but not nearly as much as they had earlier.
