"Boss! We are under attack. So many armed men outside?! What should we do?"
"Prepare to fight back! Secure our escape route." The gang leader instructed his men.
"Boss. It looks bad! We are surrounded!"
Several gunshots echoed through the mansion.
"Gather the hostages! We will make use of them as a shield!" The gang leader commanded.
Dominique and Athena could hear the panicking voice of the kidnappers. At that moment, he stood up and covered Athena's body with a robe.
"Lock the door, Athena. Don't open it no matter what." Dominique said, holding her shoulders.
Athena had a worried look on her face. "Don't leave me here…" she begged him, grabbing his hand.
But Dominique just gave her a reassuring smile before planting a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Just wait for me here," he murmured, caressing her cheeks.
Athena shook her head vehemently, tightening her grip on his arm. "No! Don't go there."
